Finally caught back up with the thread.
So first Cat posted another one of their fics
Then there was much cold water all around
then things got kinky
Then came the marketing talk
And now here we are
'Bout right?

And.........The Guide to Dragon Age: Origins
been looking for it everywhere and it was only 14 bucks!
Tis interesting you're going this route with your first Inquisitrix, I'll be playing mine as an aggressive/sarcastic elf warrior. Will be interesting seeing this dynamic play out as Sera is a joker and seems pretty laidback, sparks shall fly!
Well, usually I go with a generally good natured person as my first run of a story I haven't experienced yet. But I really enjoyed playing an aggressive Hawke (even though she was still morally good in general, she was just in a perpetual state of irritation), so I figured I could do that again and see how it goes.
Though I imagine sarcasm might work better with Sera. Snark-to-snark combat, perhaps? ![]()
Gaaaaaaaaaah tumblr spoilers, SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!!! D:
Might have to stay away from it, this is getting a bit much.
I've managed to avoid most spoiler stuff by using Tumblr Saviour and blacklisting nearly everything regards DA:I. Tis helpful!
oh that's what I'm not saying, just saying based on her personality she might like both
Yeah she might like to switch, I would just like it if she was a dom, for reasons. ![]()
BC I promise I'll read your new story later tonight and Crim that picture of Sera and the female elf Inquisitor is just......all I can say is ITS PERFECT
Never did that in DA but I have fond memories of playing paragade Shepard. Basically decent in the universe shaping decisions but with no time for criminals and egomaniacs.Well, usually I go with a generally good natured person as my first run of a story I haven't experienced yet. Same! Never could go full Paragon on all decisions. She was a good person yeah, but certain people just didn't deserve the kindness in her eyes.
Meanwhile the Hawke in question cared about people but did it in a sort of "I will drag you kicking and screaming to fix your problems if I have to" way.
Kadera (inquisitor) won't be quite that...I have to actually play her to get it down right.

I never played a cruel for no reason/ruthless renegade, like I was aggressive and a bit of an a-hole to people but I was morally good when push came to shove on important decisions.
And agreed if Sera is like Izzy then sarcasm will work a treat on her, loved my sarcastic fem hawke alot.

I'm planning on romancing Sera with a sarcastic ruthless qunari inquisitor for the awesome "Snark-to-snark combat" that would ensue. I can't wait to see the dynamic between her and a snarky inquisitor.
I particularly love the bit on Tuchanka (Mordin's ME2 loyalty mission I think) where there's some Krogan speechifying up on a raised walkway and a renegade interrupt will basically blow him up. Most satisfying.Same! Never could go full Paragon on all decisions. She was a good person yeah, but certain people just didn't deserve the kindness in her eyes.

My Shep was pretty much Paragon... except for those times that people really needed exploding, clubbing unconscious or kicking out of windows. Other than that.... never cruel or cowardly... never give up, never give in.

For a moment I read that as T*TS PERFECT.
That's the influence you people are having on me.
And that's the story I'm sticking to.

Really? I went full Paragon, with the exception of a few decent Renegade interrupts. Aside from that, I never really saw the point in ever being Renegade.
I love renegade shep, I've tried playing paragon but it wasn't as fun for me.
You know, one plus I have to say about Sera is that it seems that she'll be quite passionate about what she believes in, far more than Isabela and quite possibly more than Josephine. That's a quality that I've always liked.

Paragade was my official one but gotta admit I had more fun playing as a Renegon Shep. Some of those ME2 renegade interrupts. ![]()

The most amazing thing is that your dark side reveals itself with enough regularity for me to have used this Yoda meme on you many times, now!

Yeah most of my Shep's are somewhat Renegade, hell I couldn't finish my pure paragon playthrough but found my renegade one easy. I sort of enjoy playing as villains as they often times have the best content, I'm still disappointed I couldn't sway Juhani into the dark side though.

I don't really think Luke ever stopped being whiny, at least during the movies. in the EU sure, but that took quite some time.
