I mean, I understand people not wanting to be spoiled, and I would never intentionally spoil someone who doesn't want to be because that's rude, but at the same time I don't understand this huge fear people have about spoilers. If all you care about is base facts about something and not the experience that goes with it, then I think you're playing games/watching films/reading books for the wrong reasons. Again, I wouldn't ever spoil anyone, but just knowing certain things about the game doesn't ruin it for me because I still have the chance to experience it in game for myself, see how characters react, etc and that's what matters whether I know about it ahead of time or not.

I always turn to the ending of a book first, read about films before I see them, buy guides and then read how to beat the end boss first.

It doesn't stop my enjoyment in any way I shape or form!

I don't think you should spoil for others. But Think the spoiler button is a good idea. It's my choice to open it up and read the spoilers - if you don't open it you don't know (and kudos for being able not to open it!). People who just post spoilers openly, however, are just rude!

Eh not really, having certain information/images leaked when I didn't want to see them prior to playing that info will stick with me, the fresh feel is gone. The experience for me is sullied somewhat, I know such a scene is coming, but where/when, hence I was spoiled.

 

And yeah...this. It just ruins the whole feel of it for me. I like the twists, emotional impact, putting things together in my head myself, all the revelations hitting me right then and there, etc etc, and that's completely gone if I'm just going through something I already read about beforehand. 

 

I had the vast majority of the Game of Thrones death scenes spoiled for me, for instance...and things that should have had some emotional impact instead just got a "Well...that happened..."

The only "maybe" spoiler we got that I was okay with was the whole "seeing Sera and the Female Inquisitors breasts" in the romance scene though don't we still have that in the unconfirmed category?

Did they move the achievement thread from scuttlebutt to here? I hope I don't accidentally click on it.

Ctrl + F should bring up a search bar, type in "spoiler" and you should be able to see anything that has that in its title.

 

Do not click on those then and you should likely be safe.

On a different note, Lukas mentioned some docs about Sera are 5 year old. It means that along with Inquisition, some companions had concept before DA2. That's quite interesting to me.
I think Cassandra might've been in as well as Solas, Leliana and Wall. I think Varric and Cole weren't in. Don't know about The rest.

It's usually normal procedure to create many characters when you are making narrative media, and many varying forms of the same characters.

 

 

The same should be true of Mass Effect, but also books like the Hobbit and Harry Potter. Sometimes old concepts are revived when you continue expanding on your work

 

 

Dragon Age: Origins originally also had more optional companions such as Jowan.
