I haven't signed into the Keep in well over 2 weeks I reckon, how is it since? Is it still buggy?

Wow, he landed on D-Day? Would you happen to know if he was part of the Omaha Beach battalions or did he land elsewhere?
I would love to one day meet and chat with a D-Day vet. Full respects for your granddad.
Sadly, they're a dieing breed these days. I'd love that myself.
Thankfully, though, I met a man who escaped a concentration camp transport a month ago. Pure respect.
Well he was in the British army so not Omaha, but interestingly he was attached to the 3rd Canadian Division and landed at Juno beach. My cousin has his invasion flashes and posted a pic of them on Facebook recently...
If I didn't know he was with a Canadian division, I would probably just say he went in as a part of the US Navy's UDTs. This looks a whole lot like Royal Navy's own engineering unit though!
Or, well... you know. The whole "Ordnance" bit suggests combat engineer outfit, so Bangalore charges, Comp B, minefield clearing and the like.
Respect!

Well that's good news then. Varric's narration was giving me issues last time I popped in. ![]()

Trying to tell me Wynne can't die if you side with the Mages and save Irving.
Edit: Yeah, I got my answer, NDA's lifted.

Let me guess, the NDA's lifted, if we're talking about this HERE.

Yeah it kept crashing for me around Redcliffe. Just played it all the way through and it seemed to work fine. Odd that none of the romances are mentioned despite you being able to choose them...

Sadly my granddad died about twenty years ago, but I know he landed early on, and he did once talk about running through the water and looking to where his friend had been only to see a helmet floating in the sea... He also once told me about hand-to-hand combat moves that he'd been taught. I wish I'd talked to him about it more and written it down. I think his job was actually something to do with supplies, but I could be mis-remembering.

Ouch. Had to suck...
Anyway, if he was with a supply unit, that was a good place, I imagine. More or less out of the line of fire, but no war will succeed without supplies.

I think the only semi problem that I have is that most of my Wardens are from my 360, and I've now got like 5 or 6 Couslands under the same name.... =\ When I know I only used that particular name once.

My 360 Wardens never showed up in the Keep for some reason. I only had access to my PC ones.

I just loaded up the default characters rather than go through data sync/sorting through all the names. AFAIK there's no real benefit to syncing data anyway except for the purposes of making the Hero class/gender/race selection faster and maybe giving you some stats that are listed in-game (no choices or characteristics are copied over from sync). Beyond that, the Tapestry section gives you control over everything anyway.

Well indeed, and my other granddad was not in the forces but worked in the Vickers factory in Broughton, installing radio systems in Wellington bombers. So many things were necessary for the war effort...

Oh I know, I'm just saying, I spent a lot of time playing with the CC in DAO, and dont get to see the tiny pic of her. =\
Ah well, I'll just use one of my PC Wardens, she has better hair anyways.

Hah, too true.
It's nice that you have men fighting, but if there are no men to manufacture the equipment they need to fight, or if there are no men to deliver that equipment to the frontlines, it may as well not exist.
