How do succeed in getting sub 60 min solos everytime? What are your general tactics?

It largely depends on the map/enemy combination. There's a reason why I chose cerberus  on giant or white for most solos, and that's speed. Cerberus are the fastest faction to solo against, and giant and white are fast maps too (glacier is the fastest but w10 devices on glacier can become cumbersome and so I usually try to avoid glacier).

As for general tactics,

1. Kiting is for scrubs. The more you stick to it, the better your times get. My earlier solos used to be in the 50-60 min range as I used to do a lot of unnecessary kiting. 

2. Enemy prioritization: Focus on enemies that have high budget/TTK ratio such as dragoons, phantoms, ravagers, hunters, abombs. Not very important vs. cerberus since dragoons and phantoms rush you anyway. But vs. other factions, this is very important. For example, vs. reapers, never focus on banshees in a double banshee wave until the wave is about to get over. One banshee usually starts teleporting when you make the other one stop. This will force you to focus on the teleporting banshee and allowing the other one to regenerate barriers. But if you have a AoE power or BE-capable kit, then you can make both banshees stop teleporting and deal damage to them. 

3. Hold the line as best as you can. Giant, white, glacier all have prime spots where you can funnel the enemies from a single direction (for the most part). Try to hold the spot as much as possible by killing stuff fast. I sometimes use up a gel or ops pack in doing so but sometimes I feel it's worth it

4. On waves with geth units, be extra cautious of your surroundings. Geth are cheap and troll spawn a lot like this. And they are usually silent too. Nuke double primes.

5. Objectives: I glitch the hack objectives. Not that I can't do it normally but it will definitely force me to kite atleast once, esp on w6 and w10. It's probably not the most legit thing ever but I don't care . Pizzas are usually straight forward on PC. I try not to kite during escort unless the path is blocked by 3+ bosses. Making use of hard cover during escorts is crucial. Devices definitely require kiting, atleast 1-2 of them. Targets - I usually rage-quit because I want to use my rockets to spawn nuke and not waste on targets. The only waves on which I am okay with targets are collectors w3, reapers w3 and reapers w6.

 

Other than this, I am not sure what to add. If you want to know anything in particular, I can try and give some tactics as best as I can.

Having said that, it is an outrage to see your Krentinel with that freaking Quarian shotgun PoS. The Supreme Clan Leader hereby confiscates all his possessions and labels him an Enemy of Tuchanka. All True Krogan are supposed to kill him on sight (with a Real Shotgun). Those who fail to comply will be tortured to death, and their whelps will be used to please the local Thresher Maw.

Man, it´s really funny to see a lone Volus humiliating over a 100 enemies on solo plat like a boss.

Can I ask you something: For someone like me, who menaged to beat gold twice, but never won on Plat (at least, not soloing) what would be the 3 easiest combinations of character, equipment and stage that you wold suggest?

Do you mean different maps? if so, I have actually solo'd on all maps except condor. I plan on doing a condor solo soon.

The easiest three are geth trooper + acolyte, TGI + harrier and AIU + Reegar, and go with giant/reapers. Pick one of those three if you want to solo just for the sake of achieving a platinum solo.

If you want something more challenging but still relatively easy (the above three are extremely easy), try something like flamerless geth trooper + typhoon (acolyte secondary for phantoms), SI + black widow, Asari Huntress, Quarian Male infiltrator.

Thanks for the tips. When I won the 2 solos on gold I´ve used the Krogan Vanguard on White against the Geth, and the giant Geth on Glacier against Cerberus.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend either of them for your first platinum solo. Kroguard is near invincible on gold vs. geth but he gets put in his place by platinum geth unless you are very careful. Same with juggernaut, he simply doesn't have the speed to deal with rushing dragoons and phantoms.
