Depends on what you mean by 'suit'. 

The trooper definitely puts out more damage because of hunter mode and the fact that he can make use of the headshot bonus in his passives. 

The juggernaut, on the other hand doesn't suffer movement penalty while wielding the spitfire. His relatively higher stagger resistance means that he can keep firing for longer without having to suffer the ramp-up everytime he gets stunned.

May be if I were more adept at headshotting, I could try using the cranial trauma mod. I like the heavy barrel more when it comes to atlases and banshees (for some reason, I can't headshot a banshee).

For the moments when I derp at headshots, the heavy barrel's additional damage comes in handy.

pistol cranial trauma system doesn't add boss headshot damage which is why it would be a waste on a primary.

You seemed pretty adept with the headshots to me from the videos that I saw. Understand the need for the heavy barrel for boss-heavy Platinum.

 

While it was probably frustrating for you, I found solace when I saw you whipped out the Cobras for the Dragoons and Geth Bombers in your GE play through. A pack of Dragoons rushing and whipping me (with Bombers and Phantoms not far behind) are my arch-nemeses in this game.

Well, for good reason I'd say. If it worked, you would be dealing double the headshot damage with... Which is just insane.

Wow!!! Awesome accompaniment - congrats!!  IIRC, Red john was the first to solo plat using soldier with typhoon on Giant....the devs said platinum wouldn't be solo'd for some time when they released it and he did it the same day IIRC. Maybe u could toss a tribute run his way

Thanks. As for the dedicated solos, I chose people with whom I've played a lot or have interacted a lot with, on the forums or people whose videos and guides helped me improve my own gameplay. I neither played with redjohn (barring 2 games when a common friend invited us) nor interacted with him much, on the forums. Sorry :/

I have heard that he had a few accomplishments under his belt when it came to soloing, and I do congratulate him for that.

This is the most insanely awesome thing I've ever heard of.... I feel like a total scrub considering I've only been able to handle a couple of GOLD solo's with OP kits! You make these look almost easy.

About 3 months back, I had a dream to solo platinum with every single character. And today, I have accomplished it! I have solo'd platinum with all characters in ME3 MP. 

 

Why this thread? A couple of reasons - firstly to serve as an archive for my plat solo vids. Secondly, I want to dedicate some of the solos to certain BSNers I have played with or known via the forums (had this idea when I was nearing the end of soloing with all characters, and thought it would be neat to do so ) I will start off by dedicating certain solos to some BSNers:

 

SOLOS DEDICATED TO BSNers:

1. Javelin GI v. Cerberus/Giant (24:19): This goes out to Hendrix137 a.k.a. JewelsWinnfield. I incorporated almost every single strategy of his into my gameplay and it helped me a lot. And he is one of the best javelin GI players I've played with.

 

2. Raider TSol v. Collectors/Giant (50:17): This one goes out to the #1 turian fan I've seen on the forums, TheTechnoTurian, with whom I have done several duos for Prestacious' challenges. Techno holds the record for the fastest TSol gold and plat solo on vid (in BSN hof).

 

3. Black Widow HFI v. Cerberus/Ghost (38:40): HFI BlackWidow? Can't think of a better person than Alquinn a.k.a. Heldarion to dedicate this to. Alquinn holds the record for the fastest HFI gold solo (16:55) and this one goes out to him.

 

4. Venom BatSol v. Reapers/White (37:06): Dedicated to Prestacious, who apparently is a batarian IRL. His themed challenge threads have provided me some of the best moments in this game and is one of the main reasons why I solo so much. 

 

5. Venom QME v. Cerberus/HazWhite (30:48): My fastest venom solo, dedicated to one of the biggest venom fans I've played with, kaxas92. kaxas' venom solos is one of the reasons why I started using the venom a lot!

 

6. Reegar Krosent v. Collectors/HazGlacier (34:28): This goes out to akots, with whom I have done several pugs on my way to maxing the manifest.

 

7. ArcPistol Paladin v. Cerberus/☣Giant☣ (33:13): This one goes out to stranger_N7. He rarely posts on the forums these days but he was another of my pug buddies when I was trying out diff kits in gold.

10. Venom QFE v. Cerberus/Giant (41:25): This one goes out to N7_Gerbil  a.k.a. Tupari, with whom I have done a bunch of duos for Prestacious' thread. We set a couple of record times for the duo challenges too.

 

11. Black Widow SI v. Cerberus/Giant (37:31): This one is for kocka007, another player I haven't played with but his completionist attitude in the themed solo thread was a huge motivation for me to get onto the HoF too.

 

12. Claymore AIU v. Collectors/HazGlacier (43:45): This goes out to AW_FC_1986, who has played quite a few duos and trios with me, and had a lot of fun games together.

 

13. ArcPistol DI v. Cerberus/Giant (33:48): This one is for loufi, who has done a great job in organizing the plat solo HoF, both on the legacy and the new forums.

 

14. ArcPistol TSent v. Cerberus/Giant (36:33): This one goes out to MaxDmian who is one of the main reasons why arc pistol is one of my favorite weapons in this game. Since his Tsent video inspired me, I though this solo would be apt.

As I said above, I will keep adding until I have videos for all or most of the characters. I have videos for some of the other characters but haven't gotten around to uploading them yet. Some, I wanna redo for a better time while I didn't record/deleted the video for the remaining. I will see how long I retain the patience to do plat solos to upload more videos.

I don't have the videos for the 6 missing characters. I have to redo the solo and upload the video. 

For 3 out of those 6 characters (QMI, talon merc and demolisher), I definitely won't be redoing because I dislike the characters.

Not a big fan of slayer too, so that's kinda borderline.

I may do vorcha sentinel as a speed run attempt. 

Drell vanguard is something I might be interested in redoing. I may give it a shot and record it.

 

As for builds, let me know which character you're interested in and I can post a build here, or on YT.

During those 20 seconds, you got a hack started and managed to be out of the hack circle heading toward the other end of Ghost, while the hack continued. It completed without you ever getting back into the circle. How exactly did you manage to pull that off?

Exit the hack circle immediately after activating it. It's just another exploit, like pizza running. Not exactly possible with all hacks though.

And U have to actually be in the circle when U activate it IIRC my attempts on London. More precisely U have to be counted inside once during the first sec.
