I've heard that if you don't send an escort with the crew on the Collector Base in ME2, they all die trying to get back to the Normandy. I know the immediate consequences for ME3 would be that Chakwas, Daniels, and Donnelly are dead, but has anyone tried this and noticed if the dialogue is different anywhere?

(I'm thinking that it *should* at least be different when Shepard talks to Adams, since not joining in ME2, in retrospect, would have been what saved his life, and that Traynor might be a little more nervous if she knows that none of the non-combat crew survived the last Normandy mission.)

Yes, in some points.

If only half the crew survives, Ken is traumatized and depressed because he lost Gabby.

If the doctor dies because she (and the rest) had no escort, in ME3, if you pick the new doctor, she and Adams will talk about the event of her death.
