When I first read it I almost had a heartattack going "Oh god, not again". But it was a perfectly innocent clothing discussion, not a race topic like I feared
She looked pretty colorful in-game.
She clearly has better taste than most Orlesians.
more importantly her hat looks like a rip-off of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty/ The inevitably horrible gritty reboot
But seriously silver can be used for plenty of ostentatious and showy outfits. I mean if someone came out in a silver, spangled jumpsuit, would you think they were being drab?
Also since apparently she's called the 'iron lady' in the orlesian court her outfit may be intentionally metallic in color scheme.

Apparently, we can use different colors/patterns/material for the companions' outfits if we want to. As a few others mentioned, she wears a gold and white outfit in Crestwood and a gold/white/brownish one in the Western Approach section of the demo. I don't see why you are upset.
Also, she rocks the silver/white/grey! (And I love the color grey.)
You could always change what she's wearing when you recruit her in the game or at least I believe we will be able to.
Orlesians are simply too much. Do not ask me what, they are simply too much.
