Erm...isn't good resource management the corner stone of many games including this one.
No. It's easy to have a surplus of equipment in this game. It's easy to use little to no equipment in a game (this is including medi-gels, etc).

LOL i remember making a thread like this months ago. I guess BSN history really does repeat itself

Just like mirroring the game? Were you ignored by the many, just like when shepard warned everyone the reapers were coming.
Improving your N7 rating effectively without cheating or leeching does take skill.
Still, N7 doesn't equal skill. At all.
I've seen players with ridiculous N7 ratings that played horribly and seemed to not know basic gameplay mechanics.
I've also seen players with very low N7 ratings that play incredibly well.
So no. N7 does not equal skill.
^ This
I prefer a low level player who really goes for it and does all the objectives etc. to a high level player who keeps going rambo and gets killed every wave.
I suddenly have an insatiable craving for pancakes.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it is wrong.
That, in my very strong opinion, is one of the worst kinds of
playerspeople out there.
Fixed that for ya.
Moby, I'm really attracted to you right now.
:/
I'm sure it's just the avatar.
HA!!! ^ this ******* dun lost her muzzle

Not sure if NSFW.
I don't have enough N7 to eat those.
Can you cut them into smaller pieces for me? I don't wanna choke...

No. You take it all.
That escalated quickly.
OP is a good guy and a good player too though.
Writing N7=Skill is like stating time played=Skill. Which is only true up to a point and has a few caveats - Mr High N7 could be a glitcher, hacker, carried by better friends, a casual Silver/Bronze player who just likes promoting or just a decent player who's spent the last two years slowly accumulating a high N7.
In general though I'd certainly be more inclined to think an N7-10000 player is at least more knowledgeable and competent than an N7-53 player.
One of the few coherent posts in this thread.
To overthrow high N7 => good skill, you need to establish high N7 => bad skill. Not that low n7 => good skill. The number of posts in this thread proving this is minimal.
OKAY TIME TO SETTLE THIS
The only two things that N7 and CP are even mildly indicative for is time played and, correspondingly, in-game experience. And as the many examples many of us have go to show, neither of those can be given a quantifiable value identifying whether or not someone is a good player.
So how about we put a kibosh to this thread and this stupid f*cking argument that's been made for the umpteenth time.
You are confusing causation and correlation. HIGH N7/CP IS correlated with better skill, which doesn't make it that high cp/n7 => better skills, nor does it exclude very good players with N7 in the 100s.
Again for those of you who think n7 is not a good indicator of pugs (read, pug) skill I'd refer you to Simba's thread. N7 is a very good predictor of how a player gonna perform, most of the time.
CP means you've used a weapon or played a character a certain amount of times. N7 means you've promoted or gained levels.
Neither of those take skill.
That's as much logic and intelligence as I can muster today. Bring back the pancake pictures and demands that I swallow it whole.
