and I still dunno if "==" means equal or not equal.
also I thought the main way to gain n7 is by promoting.
= means equal
== means equivalent
Both != and =/= mean not equal

I just took it as code syntax where "==" means equal since "=" means assign. ![]()

Why would it be from a coding perspective?
Why would it not?

Its the best indicator we got. If I see an N46 rolling into platinum with an Avenger 1 he/she gets an x. I can't carry in platinum unless I'm a boring juggy. Gold is whatever.

I may be entirely wrong, but isn't N7 a measure of promoting classes? Early on when I promoted a lot, my N7 went up. Now it stays pretty much at 1200 because I have things the way I want them, and the occasional respec card is all I need. If that is correct, then CP is a better measure of long play. And high level UR weapons is another.
While we're on this subject, what to make of those players I've come across with low level weapons but N7=17,000 and CP=66,000? And one with N7=150 but CP=25,000? One I remember had N7>10,000 and CP>100,000. I rely more on the level of weapons and gear.

(10 * promotions) + (total levels of classes for which you have at least one build), IIRC.
So it's possible to have an N7=1 despite having six classes at level 1, if you haven't created a build for five of those classes.
Max every class and never promote => 120.
Every full "promote and re-level every class" cycle => 180 more.

For a long time I stuck with an N7 of 300. I was a decent player. Now that my N7 is 3000+ I'm a decent player with a high N7 score.
I don't have much innate talent for the game, so my learning curve flattened out pretty early. I can compensate somewhat with experence but I'll never reach l33t levels, no matter how many more N7 levels/CPs I accumulate.
N7/CP can't indicate the innate talent of the player, just her experience (and only if gained legitimately).
A player with N7 6000+ acquired through gameplay is going to be better than he was when his N7 was 100. But he could have been abysmal then and only kinda sucky now, or awesome then and incredibly awesome now.

Syntax depends on your language. My only real experience is with C++, so i'm just drawing from that.

If you solely buy recruit packs and play the game you will simply run out of level 2/3/4 amps making it more difficult to play at higher level difficulties to earn the credits. Therefore I'm going to argue you need skill to budget your resources so that you can buy many recruit packs, but at the same time squeeze as much as you can out of your current consumables. Carefully buying other packs as and when needed.
Thoughts?
At this point in the game's life it doesn't matter, because a theoretical player could have been playing only bronze for the last two years and easily accrued enough credits and experience to have an N7 in the multithousand range.

Would have to disagree, strongly. It might hold true for a very small percentage of players but for the majority, nope.
N7 Rank =/= Skill, would be a more accurate representation of what I've witnessed during my time with ME3 MP.
My N7 is only 300 and while I might not be a "Pro", I hope that doesn't automatically classify me as a noob... ![]()

I just experienced first hand why BSNers tend to disregard high N7 players so much.
The second dude was the host, and a BoB banner user, 16 thousand something N7 Rank, 85 thousand CP. And that's his score with an AIU Disciple. I was using a GT Spitfire/Claymore, if anyone wants to know.
I must say players like that makes us, high N7 supporters, quite embarassed.

Why are there no Revives Medals?
(Also hiding the names properly seems to require more skill than playing this game.)
That SpaceV3gan guy must have 20000+ N7.
But then the mission obviously could not have failed.

I think N7 rating may denote a modicum of experience at the game, not necessarily skill in playing the game.

Can I have the best score at Old Navy and still be good?
I got a higher score at Giant grocery store.

LAK10UK should be 12X better than dumdum002 based on this logic right?

What's that? Outscored every time? This can't be so!
