Due a problem with my OS i had to reformat my PC,lost DA saves
,i assume Dragon Age Keep will come to my rescue?
I had DAO and DA2 with all DLCs,would be a hassle to replay.

From what I gather you don't need any saves for the Keep.
It seems like you'll just click in what happened in your world state and it generates something similar to a save file for you.
But I don't know 100%.
i believe that it will act as a generator for the events of dragon age origins and dragon age 2, kinda like genesis for the mass effect franschise but im not a 100% sure about this.
Rainbow Kitty has the right of it.
You just insert you world state information and then apply it to the game and then play, poof, no real hassle...Supposedly.

I've heard the Keep is the only means of "importing" previous saves due to the entirely new engine and gameplay code, which means all previous saves are obsolete (unless you import them into the Keep to save the trouble of clicking through everything).
Is this true?

If you mean for Inquisition, then yes. The only 'story'/'world state' that can be imported into Inquisition is the Keep, if I'm correct. Don't take my word for it though, since I'm not 100% sure.
The keep is not going to import anything, it's going to be a tool for you to recreate your game state into the cloud and import that into DA:I.
Yes, the dragon age keep will let you re-create your dragon age saves so you can play inquisition with the choices you made in the previous games.

I believe importing previous saves to the keep to make a base list is considered a side feature where if they get to it and it seems feasible and there is time they'll do it, but if not it isn't necessary for release of the game.
Sorry to hear that OP. ![]()
This is the Dragon Age Keep thread here on the forums. That's where any of the latest information that can be found.
As Knight of Dane said, I don't believe you import anything to the Keep. You just go there, create a world state and then import that into Inquisition. Old saves are unneccessary.
yeah, i don't have my files either. may the Maker, er.. Keep save us all!
