So all you people who will not reload once you make a decision will you also avoid all the spoilers or will you find out all the facts of the game so you don’t make a mistake?

I intend to play blind for at least two playthroughts. I'm insane like that, even went into Dark Souls 2 blind, running around The Lost Bastille like an idiot for 4 hours trying to figure out how to turn the lights on in The Lost Sinner's pit. Weekend well spent.

Yesss, that's a pretty neat challenge.

Although I always end up messing around in my first gameplay, killing people and such.

(During my first run of DA:O I totally missed Leliana and Sten xD)

I'm game.

I don't usually reload, anyway. Only did it for Carver in DA2. 3 hours down the drain...

I do this on my first play throughs, always.

My husband reloads if he doesn't like the outcome. Cheater.

I do my playthrough the first time already knowing that characters thoughts.  So I don't reload, but to die in battle and not reload a save is a challenge I could accept as part of the change for my first playthrough.  :)

Nope nope nope. Just from what gameplay I've seen, I'm going to have to reload multiple times just to try to save both Crestwood and the keep… and I'm sure that won't even be the most important decision. Nope, I just can't do this.

Ahhh... "Ironman Mode", (see PermaDeath.)  No Saves.  No Do-Overs.

Not many games even have that option any more.  And very, very  few players have the intestinal fortitude to select it when available, much less the self-discipline to refuse (over-and-over-and-over) to make use of that tempting F5-Key when it's not.  :o

I'm on the fence myself.  Guess we'll see at release!

No reloading is how I play usually ^^; Because of it I have messed up quite many times during BW's games XD Hmm I have already planned two quizzys, qunari mage Skye and elf rogue Tamarin. If I start with Tamarin I think I will go without reloads. However with Skye I think I want to reload a lot ^^

That's pretty much the way I play every game anyway.   I still generally save often though, at least until I know the game is stable.    Nothing I hate worse than crashes during a story RPG adventure.

I learned my lesson on this when my first Dragonborn got stuck in permanent crouch, still visible to all , but unable to interact.

I never do it anyway. I never read a guide, ask questions in a forum, or seek any assistance at all my first time through a game. I just let the chips fall. Sometimes you miss stuff but at least you played your game and not a guides.

So if I decide to pick it I'll take the challenge.

I play RPGs for fun, not for challenge. If I want a challenge, I play racquetball with my kids.

That said, no guides or assistance is not really a challenge, for me it is the only correct way to play an RPG.

I never reload a choice, my first play through of ME3 seen Tali commit suicide an i never reloaded, wasnt until subsequent play throughs i knew what i did wrong, but that first play through sticks with me as the best, after the first play through i just cant help but meta game i try not to but the outcomes once known are hard for me to brush out my memory an do influence my choice making

Too bad you can't just delete the meta knowledge. It would be much more fun if humans could "clear the system cache".

What about Iron Man rules? Anyone planning on trying that?

Iron Man = Voluntary permadeath (Delete save if you die)

Not on a first playthrough with an unfamiliar combat system. After that, it depends on how luck-dependent the system proves to be.

"The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".  Interesting concept, but be careful what you wish for...

Pfft, that aint no challange! How about a proper Iron Man mode! Whereupon the first time you party wipe, you snap the frelling disc and never play the game again!

(This is acually a terrible idea.)

So if I have the digital version do I have to throw my computer off the roof if I die?

I will only reload if I pick a dialog option and my character says/does something completely different from what I was intending. I don't anticipate that happening based on what I've seen of the new dialog wheel stuffs, but I can't commit to never reloading, just in case it does.

I normally play this way anyways (especially on first playthroughs) only time I reloaded a game to fix a mistake I made on a first playthrough, that I can recall, was when I went the wrong way in Noveria and ended up accidentally slaughtering the entire Noveria security staff.  I was so not amused because I liked those people, it was like a really bad movie.

Edit:  Actually though I played through ME 1 twice before on PC and that was my first PS3 play through, so does that still count? :P
