So, who is feeling like they could play their very first inquisitor and very first round of DAI story so that they use no re-loading at all.
Meaning that you dont correct your "mistakes" that you make along the way including bad story-decisions, killing accidentally civilians, angering some of your companions (yes, even if you ruin your romance) etc etc. You stick with them no matter what and watch where your character goes if you guide him/her blindly with your guts alone (and not for example reading the da wiki.
).
Would it be fun to see do you manage to save the world in the way you desire if you do not give yourself second changes?
WHo is up for a challenge?
I'm pretty sure that's the way I always play the first play through, so, sure.

This is pretty much how I do most first time playthroughs of any game. I don't get obsessive about doing everything perfectly until the third or fourth playthrough. Well. Except for that one time Dogmeat died on me in FO3 and I reloaded a save from three hours earlier to save him.

I usually play that way on my first play through anyway. After that I usually check out the wiki and see what I messed up on or could have done differently.

I'd argue even my second playthru is somewhat like this (DA:O is the only game I've ever played twice - not including playing every Origin). Yes, I've gone through the story - but I've never read a guidebook nor any wiki (except for background info I'd never choose).

I'm not a little whiny poo-babby and play like this all the time.
I've already completed this challenge. Where is my badge, award, medal or cash prize?

This is usually how I play my first play thru. And then I end up deleting it because it's so horrible. ![]()
But the first play thru I always consider exploratory and am taking notes for my next play thru the whole time.

Heh, I'd take up this challenge, but I know I'd fail within the first hour...

Wait, is this a challenge?
Is this not how everyone plays their initial playthrough?

Yesss, that's a pretty neat challenge.
Although I always end up messing around in my first gameplay, killing people and such.
(During my first run of DA:O I totally missed Leliana and Sten xD)
Ok, so in my first playthrough I only missed Sten. But I know exactly what you mean!
I want to accept the challenge issued by the OP. Just don't know if I can adopt the appropriate level of naïveté any more.
Listen to this heartbreakingly beautiful song to understand. ![]()

That's how I felt eight pages ago too.
Hell, there are a couple of guys on the ME board who won't play an RPG until they know every decision their PC's going to make ahead of time, and the consequences. By watching YouTube vids of the various options, no less.

My first playthrough is always blind, so I accept this challenge! But my second playthrough will be pure perfection for a perfect save! ![]()

I'll buy it the first day, and when I play it, there are no guides yet so I wouldn't be able to "navigate" towards the "best ending" even if I wanted to.

I think I will too, or it would have to be a choice I really would hate immediately after I made it.

Unless I get tricked by misleading paraphrasing, I plan to do this as much as possible. I dislike metagaming and it'd be cool to avoid it completely for once.

I never reload based on story decisions. Kind of like real life. You say/do something you have to live with it. Quizzie doesn't get the benefit of the magic reload wand.
