DAII had plenty of pretty boys. I think it's high time the series explored some other male body types. It could also stand to explore a few more female body types, but I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with Aveline and Sigrun for now.

This thread is simply hilarious to read :D.

The Frost Giant, good luck finding a boyfriend in real life who is willing to shave all of his body hair regularly just for you, because "natural hairless" men are PREETTTY rare. Unless you date japanese men of course :P. And most men get bald sooner or later. It is a simple fact.

I will be myself quite pleased if bioware finally will make their males more naturally handsome looking.

But then again, this is just a fantasy-story game and you cant be so cruel to break those adorable teenage dreams of little girls .

I for one delight in breaking those adorable teenage dreams of little boys and girls, some dreams are just meant to be broken  :P .

I'm pretty confident we'll get Cullen or at least one conventionally attractive male, so I'm not too worried about it.

I think that each character in DA is pretty/handsome. Just in their own way.

This is exactly what I've been thinking. I'm worried none of the romance options will appeal to me at this rate. ._.

And that would be absolutely heartbreaking wouldnt it.

Bioware would utterly fail us fans at the last moment if they dont plan to give us all some tasty eyecandy

Heartbreaking is obviously hyperbole, but I'd have to rethink whether I really wanted to dedicate time to the game, sure. Romances are important to me. If they aren't to you, that's fine. Ideally, the games have something to offer nearly everyone.

On an unrelated note, I see a lot of people saying Cullen. He would pass, but I don't really like his character. I'm rooting for Cole to get the slot, personally.

I, for one dont really much care about how character looks when I decide romance options for my inqusitor. If she or he is well written and the nature of romance suits my character they can look like a wild pig and sound like a dying moose.

I play DA games for the storytelling and for the feeling of being the director of your own fantasy movie. I dont need some constant and random eyecandy to enjoy characters and fangirl/boy them to no end.

That's fine with me, I'm not criticizing your choices. Like I said, ideally, the games offers something for nearly everyone. I favor balance in the choices. Out of Iron Bull, the warden and Varric, I'm sure bear fanciers will get at least one choice for them. I'd like a choice on the other end of the spectrum. Writing is a whole different issue and, definitely, I'd like for all of the characters to be well written. So, there's your appeal regardless of the aesthetics. Everyone wins, theoretically.

Cool for you.  Beastiality isn't my thing.  Difference between us is that I won't knock you for your tastes.

Good for you. I dont really know what you mean knocking you for your tastes; just voicing pretty simple opinion of mine.

I think difference detween us is that I dont think so much about differences between us. If you give your humble opinions to the forum it is fine by me, but I think you should stand a little better the possibility of someone arquing with you about your opinions. When we are indeed in forum. Place where good mannered arquing is the whole point of the whole thing really.

Also, some good, manly fun should be had:

Voicing your opinion does not require mocking people as "little girls" with "adorable teenage dreams", my friend.  That is fairly ill-mannered. You can be disagreeable without being insulting or making rude (and entirely false) assumptions about people with differing opinions.

So you are pissed off because you think I called you dreaming teenage girl and you want to insist you are not one? Ok, I believe you are not a teenage girl with adorable dreams. Satisfied?

....Maybe I was mostly qenuine on what I said and not so much mocking people? Or maybe I intended my talk as a light hearted joke what COULD be recieved with just a laugh, because people who are at peace with themselves and their opinions have the ability to laugh at them, which i kind of valuable trait if you think about it.

The fact that you are waving my words at front of my face kind of proves that you take this matter little bit too seriosly.

Nah, I just think you were rude.  That's the extent of it.  I have no power over you so if that's how you wish to continue, then by all means, don't waste your time on me.

Oh, you just decided that did you? No answers to my arguments whatsoever? You just show how mature conversationalist you really are my friend.

I agree that this coversation was pointless the minute you started it. You could have accepted my writings and moved on or at least provided some more high-class arguments to me so we maybe could have had some interesting conversation together.

Maybe teenager was too high estimate from me after all.

Now that I think of it, we've never had a dwarf LI. Elves, humans, but no love for the dwarves!

"High-class arguments(!)" This, from the guy who entered the thread with an "adorable teenage dreams of little girls" and two uses of the word "eyecandy."

As long as BW don ´t pull another ME3 for us female fans who love our men, Im happy.

Pretty sure Solas could be a "hot pretty boy" if they added hair on his head.

I do find Alistair, Anders, Sebastian and Kaiden to be dull with faces that screams typical "American pretty boy". But I love Fenris and Thane. So I am not sure where my taste in men lies when it comes to fictional character.
