Except those practical reasons are still there for Fereldan without them considering it selfish and deviant if you already have kids. As for bastards they're mages. Mages have birth control. (Though I do understand the reasoning since no birth control is perfect).

We don't know how much of a control, or how reliable it is. Anyway, it is the only reasonable explanation i can give, without going into decadence. Or maybe it was practical once and now is pure custom. Unfortunately, we know too little of Tevinter's society and customs to elaborate things like this thoroughly.

Everyone's version of sexy is different. I don't find pretty boys near as sexy as mature men, but that's what I've had to choose from when it comes to Bioware games in general. If there isn't a single pretty boy LI to speak of (which I highly doubt, but you never know), well then you're just experiencing the game as someone who prefers mature, grizzled men has experienced the previous games in the series. We survived it. You can too. 

 

 We still don't know who all the companions are though, let alone which ones are LIs. So it's a bit early to panic.

I realized I kinda lied in my earlier post because I forgot about Sebastian.  But that's probably because I've never felt inclined to romance him (and I've only played one Lady Hawke so far, so).  I just like to have him around as eyecandy and because that voice.

It just occurred to me that there hasn't been a dark haired male LI in Dragon Age yet. That needs to be rectified. Though from the companion list thus far, Inquisition is definitely not going to introduce one.

Nope, not yet! I hear fans complain about lack of blonde female LIs and I'm always thinking "can we trade?" I find dark haired men much more attractive than light-haired.

It was more of the kid with dead wife that he compared you too (Seriously three times (Juhani, Carth, Sky) was more than I'll ever need). Also if they *must* have a kid please let him/her be fully grown and not in the I HATE YOU DAD stage. That's just so awkward. Honestly that's why I refuse to romance anyone that's not Silk Fox as a female. I'll romance Sky on my males but nope on my females. (And please not young enough so PC can be substitute mommy/daddy that so killed the Journalists romance in Sweet Fuse for me. )
