Well, first of all... Way to potentially ruin the game, guys.
I have the three items from DA:J which are in Promo Item Pack 2. I only have Amulet of the War Mage on my HD for some reason but I still get the other items in game. I know how to fix this, but it's just frustrating having to rely on the frikin' servers to play.
Is there any way I can connect to the server in a different way, get my DLC items on my HD, or fix the server unavailable problem? Out of all of the games I've played, DA:O has given me the most technical problems. I really want and would appreciate some help here guys. Thanks.

That's why it's such an annoying problem. Most people aren't going to realize that they're affected by it until they lose connectivity, at which point they're can't do anything about it until they can connect to the DA servers again. Unfortunately, acquiring the licenses for offline play requires that you be online, so you need to fix the problem before you know you have a problem.
No, I don't know why the workaround hasn't been stickied yet.

I finally wrote to support and received an incredibly generic guide that didn't address this specific set of issues. Very dissapointing. I don't have problems with XBOX Live or playing games...I ONLY have a problem with Dragon Age, connecting to the servers, a problem that began sometime in the last month, after I had been playing just fine since release.

ok i have a question...so im about to try to play dragon age: origns awakening...with the disk then it comes up that the ea servers are down and i cant do anything ...i have no dlc's or add'on...pls help
