Just because I'm curious, I wonder what you guys think would win in some kind of anti-Best Game Ever! contest. This is not just for bad games, though. This is for the games that other people seem to love that you yourself could never get into. I'll start us off:
GTA IV. Whenever I hear anybody bring up the GRA franchise, most people seem to say IV is the best by far, but I don't see it. Clunky car controls and somewhat outdated graphics notwithstanding, I found the story to flip flop between either rather bland to downright hypocritical. I like a good anti-hero/villain protagonist story (I loved GTA V and III) but there is just something about a guy who angsts on about how miserable his life is and how he'll never be able to turn things around as he murders people that just gets on my nerves. While I liked Niko's cousin Roman (that's his name, right?) and some of the other side characters, I couldn't make myself actually care what happened to Niko. Maybe I'm not looking at things the right way, but I can't help it.

Mass Effect 1 and 2.
Possibly due to my exposure on BSN, but Mass Effect in general is the most chronically overrated franchise in modern mainstream gaming circles. And that's saying something.

Civilizations V
Played Civ I, II, III and IV religiously. Tried Civ V and after forcing myself to try and like it for a couple hours I uninstalled it, leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

I am spreading the word on how good TES is because it is the best and not overrated like ESO.
