Is there any other reason multiple people have decided to proclaim the games I like are garbage, which, as I just said, is entirely irrelevant to the topic ay hand?

 

If you would have your opinion on a game other people like in TWD unchallenged, then the same applies to games you like. But I've been consistent. I've always insisted that Mass Effect (as a series) and Fallout 3 have been vastly overrated.

 

How remarkably convenient that very negative criticism of Fallout 3 just so happens to show up right after I acknowledge it as a favorite of mine.

Convenient because you brought it up. I've always been consistent in my stance of Fallout 3. Note how I don't challenge Half Life 2.

Yes. You liking it automatically made it a bad game. It had nothing to do with the actual valid criticism Crusty gave it. It was all because of you. Even when he, of all people, defended you alone.

What 'fundamental meaning' did Fallout 3 miss from previous entries?

 

The central theme of the series seemed to me to be 'Humanity, and everything it brings with it, good and evil, continues after the end.'

 

Fallout 3 certainly portrays that.

As for the topic just about every big FPS in recent memory. The genre's just not my cup of tea.

The only franchises I'd say are overrated would be GTA and MGS, at least by professional reviewers.

On the subject, I feel like TWD: Season 2 is overrated so far. It's nothing compared to Season 1, in my opinion.

IMO, I actually think so far episode 1 and 2 of season 2 have been better than their season 1 counterparts.

Will be interesting to see if the same can be said of the next ones.

Resident Evil 4. It was by no means a bad game, but all the QTEs the unskippable cutscenes, and the game not being scary all got grating fast.

For me probably Bioshock Infinite, but I've always thought the fallout games are a bit overrated also.

I actually think the game is alright (Besides the entire second half of it). It's still obscenely overrated though.
