I could get behind this I think. Great way to spend some extra time developing your character.
But I do enjoy unwrapping the game, putting it in, and spending three excited hours creating the perfect character. Something nice about the first time you do that in game.

sounds likea great idea if you want to rush into the game when you get it.personally i love spending sometime on my toon making sure he/she is just right.

I think they said they'll release a video demonstration for the CC as opposed to a playable demo.
Had something to do with Frostbite 3 or something IIRC.
I still want a playable CC before DA:I comes out though.. Creating characters is so fun D:

I would love to have a Character Creator before release.
That said I'd be happy even if they released a large video showing the scope of the CC.

I think it depends if the character creator is 1)lightly coupled with the system 2)does not have a tie in with the keep in terms of world state.

I'd LOVE to have this. I'd definitely use it to create my Inquisitors ahead of time, and work toward my fan art posts on my tumblr blog in anticipation of preordering the game.

If you ask me, a pre-release character creation option would be one of the most spectacular ways to entice true rpg fans to get hyped for an upcoming game. Damn that would be awesome!

Like everyone, I would love this. People could show it off in Youtube videos, get more and more people hyped and excited for the release. I don't know if it is possible but...augh, it would be so awesome.
If not, I'd love at least a video showing what it can do.

Yes, Origins did this as well.
