So after about 30-45min of playing on Windows XP bootcamp on my MBP the sound just disappears, there is a clicking sound as it goes, I have to save my game and restart from desktop and everything works fine, was wondering if there was a way to fix this?

That's an odd one. It sounds like problems I've had with some other, older games, but I haven't seen it at all with Dragon Age. (I'm using a mid-2007 iMac.) Are you using the latest Boot Camp drivers? Which audio settings are you using for the game? I haven't had any trouble with "Force Hardware" turned off.
