It might just be me but "Quizzy and Cass" sounds like a hardboiled detective/buddy cop story that Varric would write.
I would read the hell out of that.

How is s/s fanart old? I understand if you want to see m/f art from DA, but most my life I've seen m/f art exclusively in every fandom I've ever loved... and when there was s/s art it was usually... well... not as "beautiful" (for lack of a better word) as what I've seen lately.
Don't get me wrong, I want variety too. I just don't see how s/s fanart = old, all things considered.
Edit: I hope this doesn't come off as "combative". I meant it more out of curiosity of what you mean.
Old was the wrong word on my part, and I apologize for that. Repetitive would have been better.
I think he means that m/f fan art of Cassandra is like nonexistent (unless it's with Galyan)...
More like m/f is nonexistent period. The only one I really see often is Dwarf Inquisitor/Grey Warden.
Just popping in to ask the experts... is Cass's hair black or brown? It's black in her character kit and few screenshots, then brown in others. It's making it hard to pick a wig to go with my costume ![]()

99 % sure it's black

Some screenshots were taken when the render was buggy which caused all sort of strange hair colors (even Varric lost his blond hair). Cassandra should be black (well very dark brown).
Thank you both
The colors are very wonky in some screenshots but the black is the most striking imo.
Black.
Well, Aimo made some fanarts and comics about a male dwarf PC and Cass.More like m/f is nonexistent period. The only one I really see often is Dwarf Inquisitor/Grey Warden.

I only remember the one about the Dwarf trying to say that belching is a Dwarven way of saying I love you, and Cassandra clearly not buying it. ![]()
Black.
That settles it for sure
Merci beaucoup, monsieur Schumacher!

Maybe she finds dwarven wit endearing? I'm looking forward to seeing what Varric has to say about her dating a dwarven Inquisitor.

To be honest, I don't expect companions to make note of your race when discussing romance. I mean, they didn't in Origins.
Varric: "Hey bud, you're going to need a step ladder if you date her."

I read this as "hey bub" ... and now it's almost impossible for me to get Wolverine out of my head as the new voice for Varric.
hair is blue, all former anime characters have blue hair.... except when they have pink or green
A question to the lore experts, would the Chantry tolerate homosexuality? If it was like our real life catholicism (which seems to be inspired on), that would not be the case.
And then, it would not make any sense for her to be other than straight, since she is not a renegade chantry member (or a "non-practicant" IRL), but a fierce and loyal member of the Chantry.
Does anyone know?
I would not get my hopes up for a f/f romance there... I think Sera and Scribbles will be the 2 f/f options.

The Chantry is not our real life Catholicism and most people in Thedas do not care about your sexual orientation.
What Azarhal said.
The same applies to Orlais and other nations as well. They're not supposed to be a precise representation of actual medieval kingdoms like France or England.
Just because the Chantry is inspired by Christianity doesn't mean it literally copies it's beliefs and dogma.

Why wouldn't it? I know many gay people who are catholics or orthodox. Religion does NOT determine your sexuality. And even if they didn't tolerate it, Cass would still be bi or gay.
Do you know gay/bi priests exist, right?
And no to Sera/Scribbles as the only lady love interests please. I've had these kind of romances in every bioware game, i want something different for once.
The Divine certainly seemed OK with homosexuality back when she was Reverend Mother Dorothea

When you speak of Scribbles, I assume you mean her NPC status? Why wouldn't it? I know many gay people who are catholics or orthodox. Religion does NOT determine your sexuality. And even if they didn't tolerate it, Cass would still be bi or gay.

Yes.
And the fact that i'm not interested in romancing her. She sounds like Sam Traynor 2.0
