Anything is a form of oppression if you're crazy enough.
Life is oppressive! Death is freedom!

EDIT: Well, never mind, he beat me to it.

Not everyone wants her to break up with us.

It's just a wait and see thing. Nothing is a 100% for sure, but I haven't got to that part yet.
Well I don't know about her being the best divine, especially if she do away with circles. She is doing her job on feelings rather than the people of Thedas.

Hear hear!
Her becoming divine is kinda sad and depressing. Her whole life is about pushing people away to do her duty, and just when it looks like she might get a chance to be happy, wham! She has to be the divine.
She might be the best Divine for Thedas, but personally, for her, I just think it is the worst outcome.

Except the relationship doesn't seem to end unless the Inquisitor chooses that option

Just because the card doesn't change doesn't mean the relationship continues. It could simply be game mechanics. Considering how most of Gaider's romances have ended, I'm not certain making her Divine will lead to a good conclusion for the relationship.

There's always a next time. I wanted the crazy and free-spirited Sera. But Cassandra is so awesome I forgot why.
Haha, I'm still distraught about SWTOR being straights-only, and you have to admit that BioWare's done a pretty good job of making lezbait ladies straight romances in their games, from Morrigan to Jack and Miri to Cass. In this context "always next time" mostly means "wait until you see what awesome lady ISN'T GAY IN THE NEXT GAME!"
I mean, don't get me wrong, Sera and Josephine are amazing, but Cass is unf. Cass is so unf that I have made Inquisitors that don't do anything with romance except get rejected by her. You guys are so lucky.

Huh? Have you not played the game in the last year and a half? There are 4 gay romances that have been added to the game. 2 of which are very prominent characters.

I don't understand this at all.
Of all the characters Gaider wrote, Alistair, Morrigan, Cassandra, Dorian, and Fenris are romanceable. Of those, all but Cassandra and Dorian (simply because DAI isn't done yet due to any potential story DLC) have perfectly fine romances, assuming the person playing doesn't deliberately f**k it up somehow. Alistair is able to remain happily with the Warden, Morrigan remains faithful to the Warden (and I'm guessing goes back to him at one point or another), and Fenris is off doing whatever in Tevinter, but is still with Hawke.

For Cassandra, romance probably not over but clearly there won't be poetry and outdoor under the moonlight for her and inquisitor.

Lezbait, not lesbians. The problem is that they aren't lesbian characters, but a lot of women thought and think that they were romantically interesting. You weren't around for this thread at the beginning, but Maria Caliban started it, and other women like CrimsonN7 and myself were major participants.

Yes, I know very well about the Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Forged Alliances flirts. I've stopped playing since, but I was...involved in the arguments about Lemda and Cytharat and the rest back when they first happened.
That doesn't change the fact that when SWTOR dropped, despite BioWare being known for writing same-gender romantic content into its games and actually promising it in SWTOR before launch, there were no same-gender romantic arcs. Oh, there were bisexual people in the setting, like Kaliyo, but none of them were actually bisexual romances, let alone gay or lesbian. And that's the way it stood; there've been a few token attempts at fixing the problem, but it's still a fairly huge problem.
For one thing, they're not romances. They don't have extended arcs like companion characters do. It ain't the same. There's not much meaningfully different between a lady Trooper kissing Lemda Avesta and an dude Inquisitor nailing, say, Darth Lachris on Balmorra in Chapter 1. (Lachris actually gets a fade-to-black, though, so...) So there's still a startling amount of inequality: straight companionmances, no queer companionmances.
For another thing, they're...kind of unfulfilling. Cytharat can die. Lemda doesn't seem interested in the player at all. Theron and Lana are much better, and they're pretty well-written with more content than the Makebmances, but they still leave. (BW: Austin also described them as "playersexual", and coming off of Edmonton's rejection of that concept and Gaider's fairly comprehensive description of why he thought it was dumb, that was kind of embarrassing.)
And, y'know, this is about characters that I - and a lot of other people - wish were available for lezmances but aren't. So Lana and Lemda are certainly a Thing, but Jaesa, Elara, Risha, Temple, and so on aren't. Male characters can't romance Torian or Vector or Jorgan. 2.0 and 3.0 didn't change that.

Oh yeah I remember the good ol' days when everyone thought that Cassandra was going to be female only or the optimistic: BI

That isn't really lezbait though
Lezbait makes me think that Bioware was directly saying "this said character is gonna be female-only or bi" but then reveals that she's male-only

Saying Cassandra is lesbait is kind of stereotyping, tbh. Especially when nothing about her previously made her seem as such or hinted at it being true.
