Saying Cassandra is lesbait is kind of stereotyping, tbh. Especially when nothing about her previously made her seem as such or hinted at it being true.

I think it was the part in DA:2, when she admired female Hawke. *shrug.*

I didn't see any thing that hint or be possibility for Cassandra to go bi or lesbian from DAII...

You can't really blame bioware if you expectation didn't met actual result when they not promise or said anything in the first place.

They even straight up with player about characters gender preferences before the game come out.

I still remember when people used to tell that Cassandra's kiss to Regalyan was chaste.

Well technically the kiss itself was, but the movie used a good amount of cliche romance hints

And having Varric and Cassandra party adds so much to that fangirling. I get nostalgic just by having those two together with me. Fighting side by side, instead of Varric just being questioned, and Cassandra being inquisitive.

It was.

The sex that apparently followed wasn't.

To be fair, at the time it did seem like it. Then we found out Cass loves poetry lol

At the time, perhaps, but I never get the impression Cass was showing attraction toward female Hawke. Cass just loves good poetry lol

Alistair and Morrigan will be happy or tragic is entirely on your choice.

Hence me saying "unless you deliberately f**k it up.

I think Cassandra loves a good hero's tale. I feel that she's inspired by it, so I'm glad she can be a hero once again in inquisition.

Hah, I remember in ye olde days before all the companions were announced with people hoping that Cassandra would be gay, based on admiring FemHawke... I posted my opinion that I thought she was going to be straight due to the "crush" comment on Male Hawke but not FemHawke (not to mention Regalyen)... boy did I get chewed out for that.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. She was inspired by it, but now I'm glad she can be a hero to inspire others again, like she was in the past before she serve the Divine.

Thanks for saying that bisexual and lesbian people are abnormal and that it'd have to take something special for somebody to 'go' that way. I appreciate it. It's so nice to feel welcomed.

And yeah, I know that they said she was straight long before the game came out. Which is why I said that I was super interested...up until April. (I misremembered the date of the announcement; Gaider didn't drop hints that she wasn't going to even be bi until June.) So it's not like I was duped into buying the game or anything. I was well aware that Cassandra couldn't be romanced by a female Inquisitor long before.

But I'm still sad about it.

I can be sad, right?

Now, there were zero explicit statements about Cassandra's sexual orientation before that announcement. She wasn't said to be anything in particular, which meant that she could be anything to anybody. There was nothing factually implausible or unreasonable about the speculation beforehand. We had hopes. They were crushed. Them's the breaks. Still sucks.

It wasn't a statement about her character or appearance, it was an observation about her fanbase. Even if it weren't, though, you'll forgive me if I think that discussing stereotyping with you is completely pointless after that argument a few months back. ;)

I don't think you know what the word "delusion" means.

The people should look forward to Cassandra as the divine. She has some great ideas that would benefit a lot of people out there. The circle needs to be respond, but reformed, which is something I've been looking forward to since I got invested into the series.

Sn: I'm finally at the Winter Palace after completing every other area. I'll finally get to dance with Lady Pentaghast for the first time!  :P

Sometimes Ive noticed theres been an attitude around certain bi characters that having them romancing male protagonists is wrong, say characters like Liara and Isabela. I have to admit though Cassandra is the first time Ive seen it done to a straight character though.

Its funy how pretty much the only thing i dislike about Cass has nothing to do with her, namely the"shes not a lesbian QQ" baggage.

Great... Point missing well...

I didn't even quote you because I didn't directly refer to you, I said to peoples who feel like bioware lie to them or they felt cheated.

Not a single word in my comment that about LGBT.
