What she is, is dying. All that poetical bullshit aside, and don't try it on me; I invented poetic nonsense, she's going to die. It's not beautiful. It's tragic. The poetic message of looking at a Vietnam battlefield doesn't change the fact that it's full of lives ended too soon for no reason whatsoever justified. The fact that their rotting corpses will give rise to new life is not beautiful. It's awful. The fact that the mangled veterans represent 70s America is not beautiful. It's terrible. The fact that futility lead to defeat is not poetic. It's shameful. Cassandra isn't made more beautiful because she's clinging to the last bit of sanity she has left anymore than putting her in a straightjacket and locking her in a hole for 12 years would, or a vet on life support gasping every painful breath is.

Heh and people wonder why I support you.

But is it poetic to support a dead case or perseverance? Is it clinging or belief? My friend she denied it, she isn't a ghoul, a ghost of a person lost to the blight.

She's bearing the scars but she is still herself.

Cassandra should have lost an eye. See, the eye represents the All-Seeing Eye of the Seekers, and thus the Chantry. Cassandra doesn't need them anymore. She sees through faith. With that eye cast aside, her life could begin again. Sort of like a more badass, female Odin, if you would.
