Hi, lurker here, just want to join the Cassandra cause ![]()
I'm only on my first play through, got the game only a few days ago, but was wondering which use of the advisors on the war table suits romancing Cass best, I've heard that who you preference in the missions will change the epilogue a bit. Was just wondering what peoples opinion on which Cassandra would approve most off.
Also I may only be on my first play through but I know enough of the game to know that the Seekers have the potential to be restarted under Cass (alas YouTube and its temptations). I was wondering how people thinks this fits in with the inquisition role in the world after the game is over and how this will have an effect on the romance, and vice versa.
Was just wondering what other people head canon as happening ![]()
She's cool.
Best companion, IMHO.

Don't let her remake the Seekers and don't let her become a certain something else. Otherwise she'll dump your ass faster than you can say Andraste's Great Flaming Buttcheeks.

Well if she remakes the Seekers, she'll leave to find the rest of the Seekers but apart from that she won't break up with you. However, that other position is heavily implied to end your relationship with Cass. Still, telling her not to remake the Seekers and not making her you-know-what is what I consider the safest way to keep your relationship with Cass

Having her remake the Seekers doesn't end the romance, and the other doesn't directly end it either

The naivete is strong with this one.
I'm pretty sure Cassandra's more than capable of managing a career and a romantic relationship at the same time.

Capable, yes. Willing? No.

Except she doesn't end it and the only way to do so if for you to choose the option
As it stands now it only complicates the relationship

If you choose "I only came to see you" it ends the relationship. That implies Cassandra doesn't give a **** about the relationship anymore. If you're all business however, she doesn't care. Coincidence? I think not.

Which part of the game are you talking about with this?

Post game, after she becomes Divine. Wait, my mistake, It doesn't end the relationship PER SE but if you choose that option, she LEAVES FOREVER. Which means she didn't like that you came just to see her. Which is essentially the same thing.

So your basically saying what I just said earlier, if you chose that dialogue option it ends the romance other than that the romance doesn't end

she leaves forever though. So what you're saying here is splitting hairs. A logical fallacy.
If she rebuilds the Seekers, she's still with the Inquisitor, she just leaves (as in, she physically goes away from Skyhold) to rebuild the Order. She flat-out says this to your face should she decide to do it.
I don't have her build the Seekers (I see it as a redundant waste of resources when the Inquisition is already fulfilling the same purpose as the Seekers and the Inquisition has no obvious end in sight), but I am fully aware that she doesn't leave you for them.
The game heavily implies she breaks up with you if she becomes Divine. She won't if she remakes the Seekers. Considering how Gaider's other romances have ended, I'm not optimistic of the relationship continuing.
The hand jokes only work with the Divine
I'm pretty sure the divine wanted both hands to work together....

Gaider's romances haven't ended with any sort of pattern or track record to speak of, because they haven't "ended" unless the players either f**ks it up or ends it themselves.
This weird stereotype of Gaider somehow writing ominous romances completely puzzles me, because it has no basis in reality and is entirely contradicted by what is possible in the games.

And it seems that Cass becoming Divine is the break up thing such as making unhardened Alistair king as a non-human or a mage.

Again, if the player f**ks it up somehow or ends it themselves.
It isn't as if Gaider sits in his office and thinks up new ways to end romances. It's also something not exactly exclusive to Gaider (so why he's the scapegoat is beyond me) when you consider the sheer amount of writers on the staff and every single romance that can end.
