Because Triss Merigold, Ves, and the countless female elves he copulates with are not Yennefer. If you knew anything about the Witcher then you wouldn't have brought this up.
The point is that while playing the game you know nothing about Yennefer. And in fact as someone who doesn't read Polish I still know nothing about her beyond what I've read on some forums. So as a game The Witcher is indeed judged solely by the content it presents. Triss' romance is the most complete, and that is mostly just 'Ooh we're in a bath, lets get naked!'. There is some stuff 25 hours later, at the end of the game, but all in all the romances presented in The Witcher and The Witcher 2 aren't all that deep.
You can say "but they aren't Yennefer" all you want, but that actually adds to the arguments against the romances in W2. As that implies the game relies upon knowledge of something barely even hinted at in the game itself.
