Valentine's Day in Thedas, and the Inquisitor is being super smooth with Cassandra. Appropriate, since the Pentaghast family are renowned dragon killers:

She would punch his teeth out
But then who would read her dirty poetry by candlelight? You gotta compromise in a relationship. The Inquisitor is sweet and romantic with Cass when he needs to be, and in return, she lets him make poorly timed dirty jokes and she humors him. Because she loves him.

I don't know how any future LIs will beat Cassandra for me. I have a feeling with all the "heat" against Cassandra, we're going to go back to the more "softer" type gals. (Mage and Rogue) ![]()

I know! People complained about Isabelle being too out there, so they blessed us with Cassandra. People didn't like how naive and "unintelligent" Merrill was, so they were giving a smart and on her feet lady named Josephine.

Well they can stop complaining now! We're good! Lol, Bioware should realize people are always going to complain. I do like that they listen to the fanbase, but I wonder if they do it too much sometimes. And I say that even knowing that this is likely the reason Hawke wasn't the inquisitor and that I liked this outcome. The story probably would've been more meaningful, even if I don't like him.

I feel you. I feel like Bioware is only listening to people on these forums, sometimes. I starting to see more fan service things than what Bioware actually wanted to do. But sadly, Bioware wants to please every single person, even if it means not going through with what they want.
I tell my friends about that all the time. I think Hawke should had been the Inquisitor, because most things in inquisition feels personal to him/her, except maybe the Winter Palace quest. Bethany/Carver as a companion would had been Icicle on the cake. I love family companions in games.

Right. Cass is just the sort of woman who takes **** from a man and pretends approval just because she loves him and not because he's actually doing a good job at being funny.
(Oh please tell me she doesn't change that much only because romanced.)

I don't think so. Aveline received a lot of negative reception and they just went a step farther, giving us a great warrior woman as a romance option. If BW is good at something then it's "F*ck you, we decide what's good".
Maybe they come up with weird explanations and justifications later on to please fans but so far the initial concepts have been their own decisions, I think. Others do a lot worse.

I was bored and playing around with the RP Generators.
Apart from "Cassandra knits an ugly sweater and forces Varric to wear it", "Cassandra and Varric got handcuffed together and lost the key." and many others, these are familiarly funny:

I agree. Which bothers me really because people who do not like something tend to A. yell the loudest. And B. have more to say. It tends to be a lot easier to say 'I like something' then to say 'I dislike something' because I find it is easy to go on a lot more ad naseum about why you dislike something. Hence it is easy to misjude player, And hecnce a lot of reason why for me personally i think i like some of the changes from DA 2 and dislike others.

Yes XD But I'm sure you expected that answer from me
I don't think you are though. I haven't seen you saying baka and sutobiyo or whatever the hell in each sentance. Or Sodusne. And yea I know I'm butchering the hell out of whatever those are.

I can actually speak and write a bit of the language although my hiragana is atrocious and I still butcher terminology.
But honestly I'm only competent in four spoken languages and three written and English and Farsi don't come up much <.<

I don't know if I would call Morrigan, Leliana, or Isabela 'soft'. All 3 of them will kill you in a moment's notice if they have a reason to. Leliana ad Isabela especially, since they're both primarily melee fighters.

No, I made all of that up.
I do the same thing with Warden/Morrigan and Shepard/Miranda as a joke, how Warden/Shepard are these world-class fighters and are capable of wooing them fine-ass womens, but they aren't quite as slick as they think they are. Like a sh*tty rom-com. It isn't like the Inquisitor is harassing or insulting Cassandra, and she stays with him. No, he's teasing her and giving her sh*t because that's what real-world couples do. Sometimes they rag on each other, but they both know that the other means well.

I'd be cool with it though. Eventually at some point it'd give me the motivation to play warrior, a mage one would.
