I'm more confused than I was before. I thought Tumblr was for SJW.

First time poster here but veteran DA fan. I just wanted to express my appreciation to David Gaider and the writing team for how they handled Cassandra. The "Guilty Pleasures" quest was perhaps the most endearing character moment that I have ever encountered in a Bioware game.

Cassandra can be a bit off-putting at first, but once you get to know her, she is immensly likeable and probably one of the more moderate and rational figures in the series ... which came as quite a surprise, given her position within the Chantry. I hope this isn't the last that we see of her.

If I had to liken Cass to one of the "bottles of Thedas," it would be the Butterbile 7:84: "A hard liquor that is not so much served as it is brandished. Coarse and indifferent, it is to your taste, or it is not. The failing is yours if you cannot raise — or lower — to the challenge of a distiller told not to."

I accept that challenge!

I'm pretty sure Divine Cassandra would come up a lot, since Southern Thedas is mostly built upon the word of the Chantry.

Tumblr does have the nice effect of pulling away the really, really crazy fans away from BSN.  The toxicity levels of this place go down as Tumblr grows.

Yeah. SJW's have to be at least 2 of those things, otherwise they're whiteys patronizing the oppressed (appropriating their oppression? That's probably what they would call it).

 

There's a reason you can check literally any SJW's tumblr page and chances are they'll label themselves as:

 

-a '-sexual' with a wholly made-up and idiotic sounding prefix

 

-self-diagnosed with a mental disorder that they don't actually have (if you find an SJW who doesn't claim to be autistic, you deserve a medal)

 

-a gamer (who plays only jRPGs, most often). G*ddamn everybody is a gamer in some form nowadays, you don't have to advertise that you play games. You may as well be as vague and non-descriptive as "oxygen breather" or "human being"

 

-'scene', because they're in their 20's/30's and still buy clothes from Hot Topic

 

-headmates, which is the most offensive (but not because of ethnic or gender reasons) and (legitimately) dangerous thing I've ever seen someone claim to be, despite being otherwise normal people

Unrelated to Cassandra, but this is my favorite piece of Bioware-related fan art, ever, and it makes me unbelievably happy to see. It took me WAAAAY too long to find this. I can't draw worth d*ck, but I want to see more of these battle-scarred pieces with DA characters. I feel bad for the poor bastard who p*ssed Miranda off, looking at her facial expression. He's probably either a gory puddle or a crumpled, bloody mess.

I've always found Cap to be really boring and flat. It doesn't help that he doesn't have any 'powers' compared to the rest of the MUniverse. If Cass were to be with anyone from Marvel, I would go with Peter Quill (Starlord), since I RP my Inquisitor in a nearly-identical fashion to Starlord anyway. Granted, Starlord doesn't have powers either, but he has a b**chin' arsenal and one of my favorite comic book costumes, plus he leads my second-favorite superhero team behind the JLA.
