To answer your first question, and judging from what sort of inquisitor I and others tend to play, I'd say... very likely.
(And Peter Parker is just so annoyingly "nice".)
However, I personally don't see how one would pick anybody but Wolverine for... well, anything actually.
I RP my Inquisitor as a bit of a sarcastic ass who can come off as a touch abrasive, but he genuinely means well, tries to peacefully mediate conflict when possible, and would defend his friends to the death. So he's pretty much a Joss Whedon protagonist. Unfortunately, DAI doesn't have many dialogues that amount to the "if you hurt my people, I'll cave your skull in" variety. That finale scene for Priority: Horizon made ME3 for me (as much as I detest that awful game) just because I can have Shepard actually threaten someone with death for holding someone hostage, and have it sound convincing.

And why is this? Because the music is produced by a person using a computer and drum machine as opposed to live instrumentals? Because that's the most common excuse I hear.
If that's the case, then literally any studio recording isn't music either, because of how doctored and touched-up it is after the actual recording. There's a reason a ton of live performances of a lot of bands and songs sound so starkly different then the album versions.

On the contrary, Iron Man is one of my favorite characters from Marvel, with Venom, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Ghost Rider, and my personal favorite member of the Avengers.

Good. I do not wish to imagine a world with a sober Iron Man, a happy-go-lucky Wolverine or a self-assured Peter Parker (well... not so sure about the latter actually). I don't think I could stand the fuzzy feeling inside.
The real question is, who would Cassandra be with from the DC universe?
I'd say Superman, for the same reasons as I gave in regards to Spider-Man.
