I like the above pic, but I'm not sure if Cassandra is the motherly type. I can't really picture her settling down and raising a child.

When she's talking about how her life might have been different if Anthony hadn't died, she even says something to the effect of, "Would I be married to some fat noble with three children?"

Doesn't sound very enthused about the whole idea.

Ha! No, she souldn't settle down, but nothing says she coudn't be a working mum ;) Cassandra always reminds me of my Mum, not hugely motherly, but still a good mum :)

I'm not sure whether to be aroused or scared.

With Cassandra, the answer is always both.

Cassandra, how will you be spending your Valentine's Day?

I don't know, she's pretty enthused about the ideal romance. Traditionally, the ideal romance entails kids at some point. I think she'd be open to having one or two with the Inquisitor, depending on whether it was a time of peace or not.

I would imagine the main reason she finds the 'fat noble husband, mother of three' bit distasteful is that it involves a life of luxury and comfort with a man she doesn't love, none of which would appeal to Cassandra. I don't think kids are out of the question with her, and it may even be a desire of hers now that she's found someone. After all, her biological clock is ticking....

Nothing in her known personality really hints either way at her opinion on being a mother, because she never mentions it in any capacity outside that one off-hand comment.

Also this. The world isn't imploding in on itself for the first time in years, and Cassandra has finally found someone that she is happy with and who loves her back. She might consider it or she might not, who knows.

I admit though, does Thedas have an equivalent to Valentine's Day? The closest thing I can find is Summerday, which is the time people tend to get married. Also Wintersend, which is the time people tend to get engaged.

She doesn't sound enthused because that wasn't the intended tone. She was making an inquiry, not giving an example of something she wouldn't like. Fair enough.

I don't even know if Cassandra is capable of having children, but I guess there's always adoption. I would rather we raise our child in Skyhold than one of the cities, though.

Cassandra is most likely between 36 and 38 years old. If it's like anything in the real world, menopause for Thedosian women wouldn't really settle in until their mid-to-late 40's, at least. RL average is 51 years old.

Again, with the assumption that it works like it does IRL, Cassandra has time.

Valid point.

I'm also pretty sure that in a world where magic exists, demons and spirits interact with the humans on a daily basis, people are able to artifically extend their lives via spells (e.g. Avernus), and mages have visited the seat of the gods/Maker, Cassandra could find a cure for infertility if she needed to hehe.

Cassandra is different and special, because of the Vigil. Hopefully, it didn't do anything bad to her in those areas. I think Cassandra will stay far away from Blood Magic, which may be the only thing to cure that kind of problem.

Well, it's not like we'll ever see her with a child anyways, but there's always alternatives ways to make that happen..

I doubt the Vigil had any negative affect on her fertility. She was made Tranquil (which makes her lose the capacity to feel emotion and dream) and was 'cured' by a Spirit of Faith (which are among the rarest and most powerful good spirits in the Fade), and that just gave her super powers. There wasn't any physical change.

After hearing that part of her backstory, it got me wondering to what extent, if any, Cassandra's original personality was lost or changed by undergoing initiation into the Seekers. Thoughts?

Cole says no and Cassandra didn't even know it happened. Seems pretty open-shut to me.

Missed the bit of dialgue from Cole on that. To be honest, I didn't really like his character that much and generally avoided him.

They're selling the Temperance Art thru Cook and Becker. Rather pricey, but I bought one. Haha. It's one of my favorite tarot art in the game.

On the subject of the Faith spirit, I've been wondering recently what is its demon equivilent? Wisdom is Pride, Justice is Vengence and Hope is Dispair, if Faith was twisted into a demon what would that make it? I know their very rare so the chances of it happening is slim but I was curious if anyone had an idea of not.

My fall back tends to be Desire Demon...but in this case I feel I am wrong. :P

Best I've got is a demon of Doubt.

That is beautiful, looks like they've got a series of those coming soon too - in the slideshow there's Leliana, Morrigan etc.

I've been wondering. What would Cassandra think, do you think, about a Lavellan Inquisitor acting as a sort of Keeper to the Inquisition's elves? Telling them about the Dalish and their beliefs, and giving those who were interested a chance to convert and be ministered to?
