Why would the Inquisition disband? They're an international power allied with several kingdoms and employ hundreds, if not thousands of people.

I think whenever people bring up this question, they are looking back at the original Inquisition and the precedent which it set.

The Seekers were the first Inquisition, and they willingly laid down their power, entrusting the Chantry to take up the reins of power.

The epilogue, or at least mine, seemed to imply that this Inquisition is different. Morrigan basically says that it is a major political force with an army to rival kingdoms and that it is here to stay. I'm curious to see how it will feature in future installments.

I think the Inquisition could disband, but really it comes down to what each Inquisitor will wnat to do, and what the circumstances will be throughout the individual games.

On a more mundane and less sophisticated note, what is the preferred armor which you all use for Cassandra?

I have her equipped in "Masterwork Battlemaster Armor" with the "Helm of the Inquisitor," the "Caliban" sword, and the "March of the Everlasting" shield.

I was hoping to find something like the following in the game, but so far it has evaded me:

Battlemaster Mail set with her inquisition sword.

Craft it with darkened samite, obsidian and spice thing up with either fade touched lustrous cotton (dark red)or infuse vyrantium samite (white)

I'll want to keep the inquisition around as Divine Cassandra's personal army.

I can't be sure what the name of the armor is for Cassandra, but I prefer the one that kinda has a sort of cape-like feature in the back? Something like that anyway.

I'd really like it if they had a Tier 3 version of the Inquisition Sword and Shield. The designs are too nice to only be viable for the first thirty minutes.

I really still feel that recreating the Seekers is redundant at that point.  The Inquisition is the new Seekers.

The way I see it is that the Inquisition is growing to become a very powerful organization. Whether it is doing the seeker's job or the warden's job (especially if you exile them like I did) is besides the point for me. The reason why I do want the seekers reinstated is to allow power to be shared and not just concreted in one organization. Sort of like a back up plan or a contingency plan in case the inquisition becomes corrupted. There will be someone else questioning the actions of the inquisitor, especially if Cassandra is Lady Seeker. The conversation with Cassandra about the future of the Inquisition got me thinking and she made very valid points, as usual. So having the Inquisitor and Cassandra keeping each other in check sound like a good way to go about it. Don't ask me what happens after they step out. Me and my Inquisitor cannot plan that far ahead :D

Because I didn't post any of the porn. I could, if people want it.

This one is not NSFW and has been seen before, but it never ceases to amaze me how accurate the look is. I really dig it:

In short, she's the most rational and reasonable character in the series.

Until she starts boozing.

Not that I have any real problems with Cassandra, though she seems to dislike most of my main story decisions (allying with the mages, forgiving the Grey Wardens, etc.).

I like Dorian, Cole, Sera when she's not being annoying, Solas when he's not lying, Varric and Blackwall.

Even the most understanding person can be driven to the edge when someone they used to look up to goes out of their way to antagonize their beliefs and opinions.

Well, I did ultimately wind up befriending her (albeit by the very end of the game), so I suppose she overlooked everything disapprove-worthy I did because I wasn't outright trying to antagonize her.

You have to be trying to antagonize her if she is at the lowest possible approval.

And yes, due to the limitations of DAI being a video game, a companion may begin to 'like' you again if you game the approval system and get it to a more reasonable level.

Cassandra's approval rating is the easiest in the game to manage.

My Inquisitor was a mage who sided with, surprise, the mages, allowed the Wardens to assist the Inquisition, said the Chantry was incompetent at every turn, and was a self-proclaimed non-believer. Even then, I was still able to romance her character.

Because there are many more scenarios where she can give an opinion than other companions, save maybe Solas and Varric.

And again, because of this, you have to try to get her to hate you to the point where she starts drinking. I make all my in-game choices as I would do if I were the Inquisitor (ally with mages, keep the Wardens) with the exception that I decided to play a character who believes in the Maker for once, and I have seen many more approval notices than disapproval.

First half of the game, my character was kind of jealous of Cassandra, and didn't like her as much. But the second half was where Cassandra and him started to actually like each other. I did conscript the mages, which she did approve of.

As the player, I loved her right at the beginning.

Cassandra's approval is definitely easy, mainly because of her companion quests where you get a huge surge in approval for each rogue Templar/Seeker/Mage you kill.
