Look guys!
Eh, maybe. Still, it'll look great beside my Cass lithograph.
The great thing about mods is that they're democratic.
Those who wish to use it may do so without forcing others to share their personal gameplay preferences.
The game is individual and always was. If there are people who misuse social networks and flood tumblr, twitter and other media with modded scenes, then the problem is on people's own behaviour, not on the modder.
Garbage.
It's the person who made the content that is responsible for it.
Are they also responsible for the harassment they received which forced them to delete their Tumblr?

Nobody is ever 'forced' to delete their Tumblr. That's professional victimhood if I've ever heard of it. Some idiot calling someone else names online is not grounds to completely remove yourself from whatever website in question unless you have paper-thin skin and are somehow unable to comprehend that there are trolls online.
That's like Anita Sarkeesian cancelling that speech of hers in Utah on the grounds of "someone threatened to shoot up the place", in spite of the event's security detail being present and having done a thorough sweep of the grounds prior to the start date, on top of flat-out saying that the risk of an attack is nearly nonexistent. Any time any publicly-known figure makes any kind of appearance, there will be death threats, and 99.999999999999999% of them are hollow and empty. The .0000000000000001% that do occur don't even tend to make the news unless they're somehow related to current events.

Responsible for making a mod that turns a character into a bisexual? A mod, something that, by definition, is not mandatory to use in order to play the game?
Quite illegal, indeed. Truly worthy of the hysterical reaction it provoked.
Or maybe it's the reaction of a bunch of unoccupied people, usually people who neither work, nor study and spend all day long on the internet.
The kind of people who'll boil their heads over a game character, but don't give a damn about serious issues in real life. Out there.

Oh my god

What's the point to saying this? We're taking about the hypocrisy of the SJW fanbase. Calm down. And no, we care about the serious issues of real life just like everyone else. The difference is, instead of piggybacking on others' issues, we are the others and actually live them. I'm sure they have their own problems. So do I. But Instead of crying on the internet about it, I like to live mas, as Taco Bell would put it. Let's all try that instead of blowing things well out of proportion.
While I agree that death threats are uncalled for, that argument kinda cuts both ways, y'know.Or maybe it's the reaction of a bunch of unoccupied people, usually people who neither work, nor study and spend all day long on the internet.

Quite.
Action inversely leads to reaction.
That's physics and reality.

SJWs will kill gaming in the long run, good gaming at least, Devs cant be creative anymore because they are too busy worrying about being politically correct or whatever other nonsense they have to deal with these days, i sometimes miss the days when gaming was simple, they didnt have romance/no fuss about being represented, the focus was solely on the games and the fun you as an individual was having while playing them.

Gaming was never 'simple'. Before Social justice crept into everything, the big thing was 'ermagerd super greedy corporations' and microtransactions and how DLC is going to kill gaming. Before that, there was 'ermagerd mobile games are going to kill consoles and PC'. Before that, there was the overload of shoddy, awful games from the PS1/Nintendo 64 era, which itself is just a continuation of the overload of shoddy games from the NES days, when gaming was frowned upon and you were a social pariah to call yourself a gamer.
Actually, that last one is in effect again now as well, since every other gaming publication (Kotaku and Polygon in particular) all want to cry "GAMERS ARE DEAD!" and label us all as misogynistic rapist N@zis because people like Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian are professional victims (after all, who wouldn't help out a poor, defenseless young woman being attacked by vicious BULLIES?). Only in the past the most you would hear is "lol nerd virgin", now it's "wow, you must really hate women, you're an immoral monster".
I might not agree with the mod personally (Or any similar mods) but to attack the modder personally is a overkill reaction IMO. For her leave her blog and remove the mod is just forcing censorship of a person and their tastes.
I was contempt to just ignore the mod, I wasn't going to install myself but other players want to install it, it's there personal game to do with what they want.
First off, death threats are not OK, and **** you if you made them. It's just a goddamn game.
Also, anyone can make and use whatever mods they like. "No place for the state in the bedrooms of the nation" and all that.
But here's the thing: I'm aware of the original tweets where Nat posted images, and the tone of them certainly didn't suggest "Oh, I did this as a fun test." It was more like "LOL I MADE CASSIE A LESBIAN AIN'T I ****** AWESOME." And people agreed with her!
The hypocrisy galls me. If I posted images from a mod that showed an "improved" white Vivienne or a straight Sera, I'd be (rightfully) pilloried! That has occured in the past with white Isabela! But it's OK to alter the sexuality of a straight character and then brag about it on a public forum?
I really wish people didn't resort to harassment, because they've essentially invalidated the opposing argument. This was always going to be a popularity contest to some extent and now they're the anonymous trolls picking on the beloved-in-fan-circles Nat. And since the devs are now jumping into this fight, now that side is really screwed.
That's all I'm saying on the subject.

Nobody is attacking anybody personally. If a modder gets offended at people saying their mod is bad, then that's on the modder for taking it personally.

I Never really paid attention to the gaming journalists and the media in general until recently as i never felt what they did affected the product we get in a negative way, its no longer the case. Now devs are shaking in their boots when releasing contents because maybe just maybe said content might offend someone somewhere, games are a form of art , everybody loses in the end when we take the devs's artistic freedom away, people like Sarkeesian and her white knights couldnt care less though.
