Someone should have told me we were a group of rabid queer-haters who lash out at lesbians and preach intolerance, and are unable to cope with the thought that a gay person might want to romance Cassandra. I must have missed that memo.

 

So not only am I a misogynistic rapist N@zi white hetero male gamer, but I guess I'm also a lesbian-hating, intolerant Cassandra romancer. God, I am such an a**hole for having these traits that other people label me as having.

Nice try, but since I'm not a Cullen fan trying to make it seem like I'm talking out of butthurt won't work. Name calling still qualifies as insulting to anyone with any rationality at all.

Why should it be classed as something we have "succeeded" at? It isn't like it was never a possibility for us to romance her and people have just suddenly discovered a way to do it. It all comes across as "In your face, straight dudes!"  -- Well, to me it does, anyway.

 

Seriously, it is a game and I doubt the men that currently post in this thread on a regular basis give two shits about whether or not a woman rolls a male character and does the Cass romance. It's called role playing, yeah? 

 

Edit: And I have just seen the other thread. Well, I'm with Artifice. I personally wouldn't want to mod a players sexuality but yeah, none of my business if someone does. At the same time, if the mods are successful, I don't think they should be used as way to shout "na na na-na-na" at straight male gamer's. That **** is beyond childish.

 

Yes, well, it's not just straight male gamers who get pissed off at the 'na-na-na' provoking. I know a few straight female players who got pissed off, and LBGT who got pissed off because it makes them look bad.
