You can only romance Cassandra if you play a male dwarf rogue with long black hair, nose shape number 4 in the CC, a British accent and exactly three braids in his beard.

I have absolutely no problem with this.

But he's perfect for Cassandra. They can talk weapons, armor, killing technique, war, strategy...with all sort of innuendo.

Also, I'm sure Cassandra will find Blackwall romantic with his idealism.

So much competition! :P

Right now, I can just imagine, that, after spending half the game chasing fruitlessly after Cassandra as a human inquisitor, you discover her in Iron Bull's bed.

"Cassandra? Please tell me this is not what it seems to be!" -- "You know when they told you that size does not matter? They were lying! Learning the truth the hard way will make you stronger. But not bigger!"

This song embodies my emotional reaction to this scenario

But she can do that with my Trevelyan. We can also do it will walking on the beach, having picnics, dinner dates and a show at the Grand Theatre in Val Royeaux.

What aren't you following?

People are stupid and ignorant?

I could see that and I do have a strong feeling she is straight,

She reminds me of my mom actually.

I don't know if that's a good thing.

It would be odd if Cassandra can get with a Dawrf and the such considering her profession and training and if anyone would be straight out of the companions it would be Cassandra for the same reasons. Seems like only a male Human would have a shot with her, though I don't think she would push for a chaste relationship until marriage like Sebastian.

Sebastian just makes that up on the spot, I think. There's no such thing as chaste marriage. It's his own "invention", as Carver says.

Hey, speaking of romance, I wonder who (Cassandra and the Inquisitor) hit on each other first. I'd imagine the Inquisitor can do that at first but I'd think when the Inquisitor preforms feats of badassery, Cassandra might be somewhat smitten (just like Varric teased her that she had a crush on Male Hawke).

Just please let her be romanceable for us male elves. Cause that is what I want to play as. That is how I see myself. Please. :crying:

I think the only restriction to the Cassandra's romance will be with qunari Inquisitors because, well, they're qunari, even if not part of the Qun, while Cassandra is a Chantry loyalist and there's  too much history. Human, dwarf or elf shouldn't have any problem.

Meanwhile, Sera will probably be romanceable by everyone because she is a commoner and thus much less preocuppied over such things and since she's a lesbian there is also no issue of "breaking her".

Assuming that Vivenne is the third and last female LI, I could see her going one of two ways: either she is romanceable by no one but a human male to avoid scandals that could compromised her position or she is romanceable by everyone because starting a scandal would help her position in the court.

The only problem with this prediction is that, depending upon Vivienne, it would leave Male Qunari Inquisitors without a female LI. Well, I just hope that Cassandra is romanceable by a Male Human.

Let's take into consideration the fact that we did not devote nearly as much time wondering how Inquisitors of different races will have an harder or easier time winning the hearts and minds of the Thedosians.

I think the Human Male will be totally fine. I think it would be really weird if she was not into humans at all, since she showed interest in Hawke and Regalyan

I really, really doubt Cassandra is going to hit on the Inquisition first...

Also, people really need to stop with Varric teasing her about Male Hawke. She says the exact same thing if Hawke is female, it's Varric who think she's into men and I don't think he's that good at reading people (despite what he thinks).

On the subject of "restrictions". I'm not sure where Cassandra should stand there, I always saw her being restricted by class (no mage) more than gender or race, but we don't really know her that much at the same time. It's really depends what kind of romance they planned for her.

What is the original plan Cassandra mentions at the end of DA2? She asks Leliana if they proceed with the original plan or keep looking.

It can't be to create the inquisition because it happens before the sky breaks.

Sorry if this is covered somewhere outside the games.

I think taking her to the Orlesian ball would be enough :D

Actually, the Inquisition has always been a contingency plan, even before the breach. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the "original plan" Cassandra was talking about.

Also, I just realize this thread has been lacking in Cassandra pics. Time to rectify that!

I think it was in one of the demos that the Inquisition was the Divine's back up plan

I think the original reason for rebooting the Inquisition was to handle the Mage-Templar war, properly handling the elven revolt and the Orlesian civil war as well. Then Everything went (further) to hell and Cass and Leliana decided to proceed with the Inquisition plan.

I agree. It's likely that they'd want to use the Inquisition to stop the mage-templar war, expecially if the peace conference wouldn't have reached a solution.
