Sh*t now I'm going to cry a river if she isn't available to females.

Me too. I'll be even more gutted if Cass isn't into ladies than I would be if Solas turns out to be gay or unavailable
I pretty much have my whole Cass/Femquisitor romance planned out in my head... ![]()
I keep almost reading her name as Cassandra Pentagon.
Sue me. ![]()

Sue me.
At first I thought her last name was Pentaphast.

I do not understand why people pre-plan stuff that deep without really knowing anything about the game and its features. After one playthrough sure, but month before release, I don't get it. The chance the game was designed to fit into your plans is really, really slim.
Saying that I hope Cassandra is bi, because Alix Wilton Regan's FemInquisitor + Cassandra is going to be super awesome.
Slightly offtopic, but just touching on the end of that interview. I would love it if became increasingly difficult to keep everyone "happy". That you might have to pick sides, and that your Inquisition isn't necessarily that "last supper" image in the trailer.

Yeah, I knew someone was going to misinterpret that
What I mean is, Cass has been my top pick for a romance since we even knew she was going to be in DAI, and when I found out she was, my little fangirl shipper imagination went into overdrive. Which, you know, I think everyone is a little guilty of when it comes to their faves ![]()
Cassandra Pigeon!
Shale: Where?!
I think the Inquisition as it was shown in that shots is possible to form (meaning there at one point you have everyone). I don't know if it'll be possible to have all of them at the end.
I got the same feeling. I'm pretty sure there will be an crisis point were my mage Inquisitor will either part ways or be forced to fight and kill Cassandra. I will be surprised if said moment can be avoided.
Cassandra Pigeon!
Don't let a certain golem hear that lol.

Yeah this is the same for me. I wouldn't say I have pre-planned my entire game, I just have a top choice for romance and an idea for which class/race to play first. What is there to pre-plan anyway? We have no idea what is really going on in the story.

What makes you think that? Because you Inquisitor is a mage or do you think it will happen to everyone? I doubt this would happen to a specific class, and Cass supports the Inquisition so I doubt you will have to part way/kill her. I see this being a bigger possibility for some other character like Viv (as suggested by the trailer, the Inquisitor doesn't even know her true agenda for a while).

As a straight male, I wish you others the best.
It isn't cool getting shut out. Even if I don't experience it as much.

Same. The only way I pre-plan is deciding to play a female pc; the rest is up for grabs depending on how the plot takes me. But since I love female pcs, I love romance, and I love Cass, she kinda features strongly in my 'ideal' playthrough
If she's not available...ah well, my Amell ended Origins single too ![]()

Because I plan to play as an pro mage/ pro independance Inquisitor. I don't see her taking such actions kindly considering she views anyone that opposes the Chantry as a threat. Even though I admit I don't plan to use violence against them unless they force me to.

Ah ok.
I personally don't have any "top pick for romance", probably because I haven't been a fan of BioWare's romance so far (expect maybe Liara post-ME1, but that was after the fact).
I just like Cassandra and don't really find anyone else interesting in the party right now (might change after release). Which means I have 0 pre-conception for that romance beside what we already know of the character. I also have no problem playing male or female PC, my gender preference is different from game-to-game because it's based on the voice over mostly.

On the character profile, I like what Gaider said. I'm interested of the fact that she's willing to break traditions and rebel is it means restoring order.
If it means her primary concern is keeping innocents safe, and damn any stupid traditions or laws that get in the way, then it's totally in line with how I play/think.
"Order" always makes me raise an eyebrow though. Like in the case of implementing some "system" or grand preconception of how society "should" work. It's bad enough when "order" rears it's head even in simple things in daily life.. like when people need to organize their immediate environment. Workplaces, cleanliness, all that noise. The stick in the mud.

Right I might do the same too If she is not available. I might give a shot at Sera but I still don't have much interest in her, but I will wait and see to be sure.
Thanks, the two characters that I hoped would be available to straight men and lesbians were Cass and Sera.
I think Cassandra will be available to the ladies. I seem to remember DG saying one of the companions would be struggling with their sexuality. Would be interesting to see how Cassandra reacted to the realisation that she was interested in Fem!Quisitor. There seems to be quite a large group who would like to romance her as a female, and with her being a flagship companion, I have hope that the devs will deliver ![]()
With more news about Sera being and her being female only romance I know that my femquisitors won't be lonely but by the maker I hope Cassandra is bisexual, the interview with Gaider just shows that she would be a perfect match for my first/canon playthrough.
Well, Cassandra remains my favourite character for DAI. I can't see her leaving my party the first time through, unless she's forced to do so for whatever reason.
