Definitely agreed. Kind of weird how long they're taking. And yet, not making Expansions. Just DLC.

They have to take long, because everything's semi-open world, unlike how origins and 2 were really small areas.

Not sure what that means? Didn't that game come out in the spring?

Besides, they cranked out launch DLC with Javik. And at least b.s. cosmetic DLCs. And a lot more multiplayer stuff.

I'm not complaining btw. Just curious.. it's a different dev cycle than before.

For awhile, I thought they were working on an expansion. Unfortunately they aren't. I'm not as excited about DLC, but I might play some of it.

I hope that's one of her first line in the DLC.

Leliana: We seem to have made many enemies after defeating Corypheus.

Cassandra: *Disgusted noise.*

probably because horoscope stuff is nonsense

This might be the best explanation. Astrology is nonsense pseudoscience, and I feel bad for the people who actually believe in it.

I wouldn't even call it pseudoscience. It's just mysticism.

Pseudoscience is more like the shite Deepak Chopra cranks out. Lately, they've got a thing for quantum physics. "The Third Chakra of the Quantum Mind"

Or something. Pseudoscience will use scientific terms to make things seem more legit.

Astrology was largely considered a legitimate field of scholarly study for most of its history.

It's a pseudoscience.

I'm talking about now. Not history. It's outright mysticism. Astrology doesn't defend itself that way anymore.

Pseudo-science is more insidious.. a lot of people are tricked into believing in pseudoscience, but not astrology. Because it merely "sounds" scientific. Ancient Aliens, re-appropriating quantum physics.. even the whole debate surrounding Vaccines.

---

Anyways, for the record.. I don't believe in astrology. I'm merely talking about the traits and descriptors behind them.. the stereotypes.

Astrology fulfills literally every single criterion for pseudoscience as listed on this page.

Alchemy is just as mystical as astrology, but you'd say that's a pseudoscience too, amirite?

I'm trying to be friendly. **** off with your "amirite" 4chan speak.

No one takes these things seriously anymore.. except mystics. Where it revolves around belief systems.

The point of pseudoscience is it tries to legitimize itself with scientific language (especially scientific language of it's day).

Like I said, it's insidious. Not outright outlandish... Another example are a lot of dieting fads. People hear some fitness expert use all kinds of nutrional terms and they instantly believe it..without any solid data behind the claims.

That's the only Dragon Age's DLC I didn't play. But based off the forums, everyone loves Tallis.  :P  I did like her in Dragon Age:Redemption.

Well, the dlc is better than Redemption. I'll say that.. Some good combat/boss battles.

That works, but I think one of it's plus sides is taking along different companions.. it's kind of responsive to your Hawke and team.

I've heard about Tallis' reputation, but people on BSN tend to be overdramatic. I was watching a couple of DA2 videos, and it's funny to see the "old" Varric and Cassandra.

I don't even like Qunari, but still like Tallis. She's complicated.

And a good complicated imo. She lacks Certainty, but aspires to it. She tries to defend the Qun, but knows it's flaws.

Unlike Iron Bull.. who is just outright confusing.
