It goes on and off topic all the time. But there's always time for Cassandra here..
She's a person of faith, having a lot of things challenged.. you gotta expect that. I felt she mirrored my own concerns in this. It'd be worse off if everyone was sure of themselves, at this point in time.
But then, I'm not really a fan of the Inquisition (the organization, I mean). First thing I tell her about that is that wasn't a great idea.
But I think the good part of the romance is they're going through that together...
That's not really what I meant - I was romancing this strong willed, self disciplined woman with personal doubts expressed with deep introspection. Then her ****** come out and she's pretty much a pretty sidekick who has to double check everything, on the rare occasions she bothers to make any decision at all, until I have to decide FOR HER if she's going to go be the next pope.
I don't recall saying that Hawke's story didn't affect all of Thedas, what I said is that Hawke wasn't trying to save the entire world ala Warden/inquisitor/99% of RPG protags , for the majority of DA 2 Hawke's just trying to make a name for himself and his family.
Doesn't matter if the central role has him doing that or not intentionally, you as the reader/player are well aware of his centralized importance to the world and are sucked into that centralized role. The whole reluctant hero thing is just another facet of messiah syndrome.
Additionally, tell me again how Hawke's decisions had no effect on the Mages or Templars (HAWKES, not the players
) and the subsequent events that transpired with some recycled villain HE killed once coming back to do it again, so he can.. oh, wait. He can Jesus Jump that martyr cliff all over again in DAI, too.
Hawke is the same as the Warden and the Inquisitor, just lacking the opportunity of the player for a personal touch to the point that he is CALLED Hawke while the others are referred to by their titles.
To make it clear, I enjoyed the story, except for Felicia Day's typical wooden failure of a performance, so I'm not hating on the game. I'm disagreeing with your comment.

You can spin this anyway you like, at the end of the day however Hawke's goal was NOT to try to save the world therefore he wasn't like the Warden or the Inquisitor ( not counting the Legacy DLC here, just talking about Vanilla DA2 ). The fact that some of his actions ( I wouldn't even say he was to blame ) led to a war is irrelevant to my original point. One could also argue that you as the player are only aware of his importance to Kirkwall NOT the world ( Thedas in this case ) , unless you have played all the DLCs and doing a second playthrough.
As for you liking the game, I haven't questioned that nor would I mind one bit if you didn't like it as it doesn't affect me in anyway.

Fully default world state. Cass doesn't rebuild seekers or had her personal quest done and she hates the Inquisitor meaning Cass causes mage civil war and destroys the Chantry. lol

Forgive me, but isn't it to be expected that the default world state will be terrible?

You know he has to say something to make Cassandra look bad, while worshipping Leliana.

Apparently some people believe that the default state is the canon world and the one the devs want people to play. Appently going for Assquisitor is canon.

Sadly some will always think default = canon

I don't know I saw smoke so I avoided the fire. Guess now I'm just popping in here to see if there's anything more than ash left.
