Not really. As far as FF games go, 12 was above average-great. I found it enjoyable then, and still do now.

It really doesnt matter if they get it right or not, because:One thing that always bothers me about fan comics like that that feature Qunari Inquisitors, is that they never actually get the "Qunari" part right. The Qunari Inquisitor isn't a follower of the Qun, so he wouldn't be a Saarebas if he were a mage, like how he wouldn't be a Sten, Karashok, Ashaad, etc, if he were any other class/specialization. The Qunari Inquisitor is Vashoth (not Tal-Vashoth), meaning he/she was born outside the Qun. Their parents are Tal-Vashoth; they left the Qun.
Even if they WERE a follower of the Qun, his horns would be sawed off and his mouth would be stitched shut if he were a mage, on top of always being followed and controlled by an Arvaarad.

I found it lack luster and average.
The judges were a neat organization though.

I still want to finish 12. I have that as well... I barely cracked it open, but it seemed like it might've had a cool world to explore. Combat was kind of funky though.

Heh..That was the only thing David Gaider told me, when I asked about backstory issues.
"Just make up your own."
Great. And now he's gone too.

Yeah, well if you ain't hardcore head cannon the devs don't care apparently. *shrug*
I'm indifferent when it comes to Gaider , as in the social media things he says. I'm not surprised he left, especially after some tumblr things I saw.

I think he left tumblr because he got tired of the social justice stuff himself. Which is funny.
That's what I gathered from his last blog.

Yes, that's the impression I got too. I felt bad for the guy sometimes, but other times some of his posts made me go :/ .

Yea that game was pretty fun. I like how everyone could use any weapon or magic. Vaan wasn't even the main character, but someone that was pulled into the action. I think Ashe and Brasch were more important than Vaan.

I got this advice elsewhere, but it always worked for me. Just think of him as real life Shale. It's funnier that way.
But yeah, as a creator, I wouldn't want to worry about everyone's justice issues and needs. You can try your best, but mostly, you just end up second guessing everything.

I think the hardcore DA immersion types on tumblr, are some of the most toxic people, that I have ever met in any fandom,-ever. There grasp on reality is so skewed, that they resort to things like doxing and threats.

Sort of, but it would be merely a guess. Every individuals circumstances are different, but they all have strong similarities. Generally speaking from what I can break down from the toxic groups.
Ages-15-20
Mostly, they are the creative types.
Gender Ratio- Depends on topic
Unemployed/student
Claim to be a suppressed minority in one breath, and then attack another group in the next.
Tend to hang in online school-like Cliques.
So, generally speaking I attribute it too: having too much time on their hands, naivety, and not enough world experience. Why DA specifically, (I'm going to go out on a limb here) I think the romance option contributes a lot to it. Why specifically the immersion types? They seem to be more affected by it, when immersion types play the game they really put a lot of thought, and energy into it. They have a higher investment, so the reaction is a lot worse when something they don't like happens.
Its late here, and this is highly generalised on my part. It goes without saying they ar enot all like that and ect ect.

You'll be surprised (or not) at how many of those people are actually grown ass men and women who should know better. I'm glad gaider had that experience to be honest. The more Bioware sees that, the less they'll try catering to people in the future.

I've never once seen any problematic catering in any Bioware game.

Yeah, but its BSN it already well known to be toxic, before tumblr was, even.

That would not surprise me, but the 'sample group' is small, and admittedly I'm only going by what I can scrap together. The choice of age I break down due to common interests of that age demographic, but again, it is a small sample.

If you know which people to follow, tumblr can be pretty tame actually (no, really). ![]()
In BSN, you can't avoid these people... only ignore them but you see threads and threads and it's hard to not facepalm.

True, but when you look up certain tags, you kind of see it all the time anyway. I stoppe dlooking up 'cassandra' for a few days after the mod was released, due to the vitriol it created.

What, you mean people you know of on tumblr? Yea, there are a lot of kids there, which for some reason was surprising to me. I don't know why, but I tend to assume people I meet online are adults and forget that teens have computers too, lol.

That's tricky though. When are you "an adult"? I thought I had it all figured out at 18. I think everybody considers him/herself an adult at any age above 16 maybe. It's others who tend to disagree. But it is damn hard to understand about your own failings. I wouldn't be surprised if a 50 year old looked down on a 35 year old thinking "damn kid".

All I know is after highschool is a pretty arrogant age. Possibly college changes things, but not necessarily.
Even when I was younger, my older brother (7 years older) got more annoying than ever around then. lol.. I was still a kid and remember shaking my head.

They do, lol. Someone told me I wasn't an adult until 45 or I needed viagra
They were kidding... I think, ha.
I go by 17 and up at least personally.
