From the description it's centered around the Avvar and other things

Meh, description is moot to me..i want to know whether the story content justifies the price tag. Because if you guys have it for $15, than for Aus it will be $25-$30 <_<

edit: its 19.95 in australia.

The ending to the DLC is the best. No spoilers, but after you finish the main quests you're asked to judge a bear. You can make a bunch of bear puns with your judgments, and Cassandra has a disgusted noise for every one of them.

Also, it can be played either pre- or post-ending. I played it with a post-ending save, so Solas and Divine-Vivienne weren't available to take, and several references to Corypheus being beaten were made. The new region, called the Frostback Basin, is beautiful to look at. It reminds me of Sholazar Basin in World of Warcraft, but with more jungle and less water.

This is the most compelling bit of news I've heard all day in defense of this DLC... ROFL

Okay, you guys are going to kill me, but if you could answer this question before doing so:

Can you break up with Cassandra after the actual romance scene?

*subtely readies smokescreen bottle*

I think the better question is: why would you?

Because I have a guilty conscience for "trying out" the romance only to having done so at all. Cass is constant party member, but the romance just doesn't seem "right".

I didn't romance anyone so far, and by now I know it's just the honest choice. I'm not into anyone like that, and I honestly don't roleplay (fundamentally) different people.

This is what Youtube is for. How is the romance not "right"?

Okay then.

"Not into anyone like that." is really, really vague and not helpful. "Like that", meaning...? Women? Religious? Women who aren't traditionally "girly" and overly feminine?

I'm finally able to take screenshots as an Xbox One user. They're not very good and I don't have flycam for creative angles, but it's better than nothing.

I cannot tell you. However, what I don't quite understand is: you played up to that point already. So why don't you simply try to break up with her?

For the love of Andraste's perfect ass, yes you can break up with her after the sex. There. Done.

Has to be right after though. Like, during that scene. Otherwise I'm pretty sure you'll have to wait till the end of the game.

Like "that" was referring to not being into anyone "romantically", not just Cassandra. That's definitely not it. My canon ME romance is Ashley, after all.

Speaking of Ashley, it was the only one I could stand because it starts as a fling, goes through a rough patch, and only ever becomes "serious" at the end of the game(s). You have to prove things more than once, keep at it and stay faithful (well actually you don't, but alas) It felt like an actual developing relationship. I know a lot of people absolutely loathe her, especially the romance, but the fact that it has so much back and forth is what made it interesting to me.

In DA, it kinda takes the tension out of it, because the romance starts being a perfect happy ending - at least for their relationship to one another.

Yeah, apparently.

Like I said, I was just asking because I found the status quo a little boring, compared to the dance before. I figured a breakup would bring some more X-Files esque we-still-have-to-work-together tension. I am probably overthinking this.

P.S.: I find both Josephine and Cassandra very attractive; so I'm not bringing up that stupid ol argument of needing a clichée super model to fulfill my supposed standards and whatnot.

If that's what you want, just make her Divine. It has the drama of splitting up without necessarily breaking up, unless interpreted that way. Until Bioware confirms it's done. Romance card stays locked so it's anyone's guess.

Sadly, bioware isn't going to confirm that. They already said that they'll leave it up to the players to decide where the relationship goes after that.

That means no dlc or future reference? Sigh. Well, that'll make my fanfiction easier to write.

There could still be future DLC's, but it would have to happen before the New Divine sits on the throne, and after Corypheus' death.

It's left up to the player to decide for the time being, just as it was concerning Morrigan befor Witch Hunt, and then DA:I.

That would ****** me off far more than any break up scene ever would.

The "Leave it to the players interpretation/head cannon" just comes off as poor storytelling IMO, that what Bioware has produced feels unfinished.

I know why they do it, it's cheap for them to produce + some players enjoy head cannoning what happens next.

But their games are weaker for it, as are their protagonists(Especially the Protagonists) their characters, their villains, their plots, their themes & their settings.

I can head cannon till the cows come home Bioware, but it will never be playable whereas your stories will be & I want to play them.

I'm not against leaving some wiggle room for player imagination, but I want the juicy bits (Like a Divine Cassandra / Inquisitor "What comes next" Relationship discussion) to be playable. Be it happy or sad.

The angle on this shot makes her cheeks look a little chubby. Or maybe it's just me. Not a complaint though (still 10/10 would bang all day long), just an observation.

Anything good for Cass in the DLC?
