To be fair to Cullen he was part of a military organisation and you have to have pretty strong reasons for rebelling against your commanding officer. The faults with the running of the Gallows seemed as much to do with the set up of the Templars as the individuals involved. Elthina also had the power to remove Meredith from office but chose not to act. An awful lot seemed to be going on within the walls of the Gallows that was kept hidden from those at the top. Thrask managed to get an entire mage/Templar alliance going right under their noses while Alric was forcibly making mages tranquil (illegally) and no one, not even Orsino, appears to notice or care. Sister Nightingale could have dug a bit more thoroughly into the true situation but instead chose to take the word of a civilian. The Seekers themselves were remiss in not investigating sooner. If the Divine was anxious about the deterioration of the situation in Kirkwall, as she clearly was, why on earth didn't she order them in? Then after the explosion at the Chantry, it takes two years for them to mount an investigation? Basically for an organisation that is meant to be controlling the misuse of magic, they are incompetent. If they had gone in and asked her second in command his honest opinion, I'm sure he would have given it as he did to Hawke. So may be Cullen will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder towards the Seekers because he did suspect something was wrong with Meredith but the poor guy seemed to have to cope with the entire situation on his own.
As for whether he is still loyal to the Chantry or the Templars, may be neither. Would you blame him?
And yes, Cassandra was the right hand of the Divine and Leliana the left. The right hand is the one she openly uses, the left the one who operates behind the scenes.
I'm telling you, she's into it.
I wonder if Cassandra would ask the Inquisitor to roleplay some scenes.
I disagree. I think all the specialists are present from the start, and Cass is the one who choose them (since we can't choose which character will be the general or the political advisor or the spy leader). And it makes little sense that she choose someone who left the Chantry. It seems more likely to me that he remained loyal to the Chantry. It's the same reason why i think Scribbles will be related in some way to the Chantry. You realize that this is the guy who was second-in-command of the person Cassandra said was responsible for all the crap happening to the Chantry at the end of DA2 right? Changing your mind after the fact because your crazy commander just asked you to kill Hawke (or those mages begging for their lives) do not absolve you of what you did in the last 7 years in support of that person.
Also, who said that Cullen stayed loyal to the Chantry? I'm starting to think that the specialists are actually recruited, minus Leliana, so you get 1 companion and one specialist forced on you: the Right and Left hands of the Divine. And you are the head of the Inquisition, hmm.

I guess we'll know more if the devs will release interviews on the advisors as well.
Or Scribbles was just a random tavern wench, who happend to be great with math - so Cass decided to hire her ![]()
Well, according to the tweets between Patrick and Mary she's known well enough that she can make five kings shiver just by starting writing, so I think you might be slightly offOr Scribbles was just a random tavern wench, who happend to be great with math - so Cass decided to hire her
Insert *My right arm is a lot stronger than my left arm* joke here.
Oh there are more jokes to be made than that my friend. ![]()

Seriously though, she's the political advisor as well. She has to have knowledge on politics. I hair think that based on what we know about the Inquisition's formation it makes sense to me that the advisors are all related to the Chantry i some way, in position that Cassandra can trust them.
I admit I could be completely wrong; I just feel that way.
Good point. I was mostly joking anyways ![]()
What's interesting though, is that we don't have to ally with the chantry at all. So, first we take away all the awesome folks from the Chantry, and then we stab them in the back later in the game if we feel like it XD

I love it. Both practical and beautiful at the same time. Fits her perfectly.
That dress, simply amazing.

Indeed we can. While I don't think Cass has ill intentions towards them, she doesn't seem to have a problem in taking their best (remaining) resources.
Cassandra is all about being practical you know and old bickering ladies don't need those resources.
Hello pretty lady. My I take your coat this evening? ![]()
I agree.That dress, simply amazing.

Cassandra: "Screw armour, this is my new battle dress!"
OH NO! I've reached my max likes for the day.
This has never happened before. ![]()
Does anyone remember if we can change the armor between classes? It was either confirmed or denied I don't recall. In other words, can I put Cassandra in mage robes if they look pretty enough?

I'm not sure why people think that Cassandra do not like to wear a dress. She has a sense of propriety...

You can equip different armor on companions (no class restriction), but they will keep a "companion specific look".
