I never said they weren't sentient. I think their culture is pretty alien and needs time to get to know, and I think the Vashoth while not Qunari has some ability to elevate beyond that and try to integrate with others.

 

I do however find it silly that they can potentially run the world suddenly. And then some. 

I only stated that to say its not like they're just animals and beasts, so it makes it less weird for me. Of course, being sentient alone wouldn't mean it couldn't be weird...

 

Anyway, I don't much like their portrayal through Iron Bull. He's a silly character that I can barely call a character because nothing about him feels real.

Honestly I was half tempted to just shoot him then and there, the logical part of my brain knew that was doing him a favor.

But ultimately as I've said before; I'm selfish.

Erm, I don't think there are many characters in Inquisition that actually feel real. Most of the time during the dialogue I feel like I am being handed a pamphlet jam packed with facts about them rather than having a flowing conversation.

You wanted to keep him alive. That's the human side to it, otherwise you become a machine with no emotion. Logical answers are great but emotions are going to win when it comes to something like that. You aren't selfish for that.

I actually like most of the characters. It's the one redeeming factor, I guess. And the lore. I'd be gone without them.

 

Same here. Though half the time it did feel like the characters were just talking for the sake of talking.

Cassandra, Dorian, Solas, they feel real. The others maybe less so but I can imagine people being like that.

 

Iron Bull is just too poorly written for me to buy him however. He's a 50 shades of Qunari grey character, one I'd expect to find on Kink meme. It's not just an issue of voice actor delivery, though that is indeed poor as well.

 

All I can say is occasionally he's funny, and his dialogue is interesting once in a while.

Definitely. And maybe give him a few tasks of moving stuff and destroying things. When he's there anyway, he might make himself useful at least.

Well, I surely think my elf shouldn't run the world either. 

I also think, Leliana shouldn't actually be the spymaster. And Cullen shouldn't necessarily be the (only) army commander there. Also, I'd prefer somebody to sit in judgement who actually knows something about law. I'd like there to be lawyers in defense of the culprit. I'd also prefer if others would run errands, not the Inquisitor. And while we're on the subject, could we change the subject now? Because I might not be able to stop pointing out what's rather unbelievable in the whole setup...

 

Anyways, even I'm getting tired of complaining. I've already spoken my mind enough. How many times can a person say "This **** is stupid"?

Fair enough. The whole thing is pretty weak. The sad part is I like the characters --- which my Inquisitor will be taken away from.. and I'll be left with all the parts I don't care for.

 

 

But yeah, lets drop it. I think I'm gonna play that Neverwinter mmo... should be up now (on XOne). Which is kind of sad, considering that I'm not a fan of mmos either. But it's D&D. After all of these years, it's still better than this.

 

Are you back already without killing kids in busses and cars and planes or do we still have to worry?

 

I am not quite sure I follow. Do you expect to play the Inquisitor again in a new game but with a different cast? Or do you think he will just go on leading the Inquisition but everybody will leave (without us revisiting)? Because in case of the latter, I don't think that's too sure yet. If Cass is not Divine, she will surely stay. Same for Leliana, Cullen, Josie. Neither has a reason to leave. Dorian and Bull want to stick around "for now", which can be a long, long time. Varric I'm not sure about, as well as Viv. Solas leaves, yes, but Sera might as well stay. Why not? She can do a lot of good for the people there. Same for Cole. And what Blackwall does is in the Inquisitor's hands anyway.

 

I will look into that NW game for PS4 if it's out there too. Recently I started playing some SWTOR, my first actual MORPG experience. I haven't been much into online gaming so far.

I am in the process of starting to be interested in the story SWTOR presents me. Gameplay is not attractive though.

Don't forget how great Cole is . But I'm just being bias, since he's favorite character in the series.

And yes, I said that. Believe it or not, I want to be a Cathar or Twilek. I don't want to be too much of an Obi Wan or Han Solo rip off.

I unintentionally turned out to be female Han Solo. "Yea, yea, keep talking boy, is this a paid position? Aha... I see... and it's paid, right? ... I'm not much for causes, but I'm on board with this one." That's nearly my maximum level of role playing.
