You are suggesting that gay players should have more options than straight players.
My preferred scenario is that everyone has equal options to the romanceable characters. That's what *should* happen. But it's been confirmed that Sera is only for females and it's highly unlikely that there isn't any equivalent for males. So because *that* much is certain, I believe that the rest of the options should be bisexual so that the most amount of people have the most amount possible of options.
When the roles were reversed and straight players had more options, gay players were complaining they had less options. It is the exact same thing.
Except that straight players would have more options overall in Bioware games in either scenario. I don't think you can seriously say that gay players having one more option than straight players in one Bioware game would make the plight the straight Bioware game players equal to those of gay Bioware game players. It's only true if you take into account only Dragon Age Inquisition, and I see no reason why Inquisiton has to be put on an island all of a sudden, as if it's not part of a continuous series.
Lol. The straight males will have options, that's for sure.
Also there's Viv, make her straight and problem solved. No one is taking Cass away, she will still be available to dudes.
But there are players who want to romance Vivienne with female players as well :/
I just don't see what the problem is with making the remainder of the options bisexual. The fairness argument falls flat when you take in account every other Bioware game. Even Dragon Age 2 had one more romance option (just because there was no sex doesn't mean it's no longer a romance) for straight characters.
