Got a panick attack yesterday before going to bed, blergh. I didn't even know my hands and fingers could bend this way. Thankfully, there are things like Cass wearing a crown of flowers for making me feel better.

I tried to explain once more why Tethragast was OOC. But I think I was polite enough. Except maybe for the last part.

Eeh, it was fine. Just ignore the rest. ;)

Plus, if he gets over Bianca, I say he is harbouring some deep feelings for Hawke.

For me personally that ship is just as weird as Thetraghast. Hawke could be male (and Varric doesn't seem bi to me), you could have played a rivalry (so we're back at what Ventus thinks couldn't work), and even in my friendship femHawke run I never felt any romance in the air.

Apparently AMC is making a Preacher series.... which I'm really excited about.

A new Preacher?! Or a remake?

But my name starts with a K too. They're all cool.

Uh.. Kevin?

My name begins with a K as well v.v

Kurt!

Considering having a polite discussion is "trolling" by the books of some there, I'm going to ignore the rest indeed.

Eh, I agree Tethrawke (...nah, we need another name for that ship. Hawthras?) is kinda weird. I'm over it - more or less. It's just that Varric was that smooth, charming gentleman of a dwarf (biiiiiig changes after Oghren) and the most supportive of all of Hawke's inner circle (except maybe for Aveline) if you befriended him. But yeah, you had to be his friend first and I'm not sure you can flirt with him if you're a man at all. But as it is, I cherish the relationship between him and Hawke; you don't see friendships like the two has/had at every corner. Hawke is/was the most important person in Varric's life apart from Bianca, just not in a sexual/romantic way.

Not Kevin.

A new Preacher TV series based on the comics.....produced by Seth Rogen of all people. But he's consulting Garth Ennis, so it might be good.

Merela, I know we have our differences, but sorry to hear that (about the panic attacks).

Thanks, Street, I appreciate the thought. It doesn't happen very often, for which I'm very grateful, but it was the first time it turned so bad we had to call the emergency medical service. I'm going to try and see a doctor in the morning, for knowing if I'm in shape to go to work today.

People get aggressive easily if they feel personally attacked, and no antagonistic debate ever considers reason or logic. There's hardly anything you can do, so it's best to just turn away if it makes you feel bad. Anyway, your post was good, I liked it.

"Hawthras" is not so bad even. Let's say that!

However, I agree, it's a friendship (and a good one, even in a rivalry it has its strong moments). I think it's sad some people can't just be happy and take it as it is, instead always demanding everything to be a romance. As if friendship had no value at all. I've despised that attitude since Mulder and Scully. I so hated that. They were such a good team at first. Can't two people work together and care for each other without ending in bed together?

Oh god, this will take forever. Ken?

Ah, TV! Thought you spoke of a new comic book series. What channel, and when? Or aren't they so far yet?

Do you know what triggered it? If you don't feel like up for it yourself you might consider staying home for a day anyway. But I guess you'd know best if work would help or rather be counterproductive.

Channel is AMC... I think they just got started filming or something.

Yeah, Ken. I wish it was Kenshiro. Or better yet, Khan. Maybe I should just roll with that.

Yikes. Someone close to me has the issue, so I can sympathize. Although I might've experienced similar things myself at times, and do anything I can to knock myself out to sleep. It's not fun.

Take care :)

It's really the end of a era...that's what the 21st century has been so far.

Not even two decades into this century and all of these legends I grew up around are gone.

Ahnold is still here...... and he's finally making a King Conan flick. Apparently.

Please don't suck.

Eh, that it is. :) One of my favorite shows of all time, with a great cast. Wish they would release a Blue-ray version of it.

I've watched Star Trek since... I could think, really. DS9 might have been the objectively better series but it just can't beat the original ST for me.

Yeah, Ken. I wish it was Kenshiro. Or better yet, Khan. Maybe I should just roll with that.

I can call you King Khan from now on if that makes you happy, hahren.

DS9 went away from the serial formula and had a continual story arc. I guess I like shows this way more. I can't decide if it's my favorite cast though. Janeway's probably my favorite captain actually.

Well, DS9 was different on many levels. Taking place on a space station and not just a ship they could use more characters and reoccurrences made a lot more sense. And I think it was a lot more life-like and realistic, so much darker and grittier too. And Janeway was great, yes.

From today's point of view the original TS is a bit ridiculous and there've been better incarnations of the TS universe, I acknowledge that. But none of them ever had an over-acting captain who constantly sucked in his stomach because looking slim is just what you worry about in a fight. I miss that.

Speaking of, I think I mentioned this once... but the Inquistor kind of reminds me of Sisko (while Cass is Kira). Especially the Herald thing.

Close. Nowhere near that gross, but it has the same general letters.
