Considering having a polite discussion is "trolling" by the books of some there, I'm going to ignore the rest indeed.
Eh, I agree Tethrawke (...nah, we need another name for that ship. Hawthras?) is kinda weird. I'm over it - more or less. It's just that Varric was that smooth, charming gentleman of a dwarf (biiiiiig changes after Oghren) and the most supportive of all of Hawke's inner circle (except maybe for Aveline) if you befriended him. But yeah, you had to be his friend first and I'm not sure you can flirt with him if you're a man at all. But as it is, I cherish the relationship between him and Hawke; you don't see friendships like the two has/had at every corner. Hawke is/was the most important person in Varric's life apart from Bianca, just not in a sexual/romantic way.
People get aggressive easily if they feel personally attacked, and no antagonistic debate ever considers reason or logic. There's hardly anything you can do, so it's best to just turn away if it makes you feel bad. Anyway, your post was good, I liked it.
"Hawthras" is not so bad even. Let's say that!
However, I agree, it's a friendship (and a good one, even in a rivalry it has its strong moments). I think it's sad some people can't just be happy and take it as it is, instead always demanding everything to be a romance. As if friendship had no value at all. I've despised that attitude since Mulder and Scully. I so hated that. They were such a good team at first. Can't two people work together and care for each other without ending in bed together?
Not Kevin.
A new Preacher TV series based on the comics.....produced by Seth Rogen of all people. But he's consulting Garth Ennis, so it might be good.
Oh god, this will take forever. Ken?
Ah, TV! Thought you spoke of a new comic book series. What channel, and when? Or aren't they so far yet?
Thanks, Street, I appreciate the thought. It doesn't happen very often, for which I'm very grateful, but it was the first time it turned so bad we had to call the emergency medical service. I'm going to try and see a doctor in the morning, for knowing if I'm in shape to go to work today.
Do you know what triggered it? If you don't feel like up for it yourself you might consider staying home for a day anyway. But I guess you'd know best if work would help or rather be counterproductive.
