By her own words, it was fleeting, and they were both young. Cassandra had been made a Seeker and Regalyan was promoted to Circle Enchanter, so they wouldn't have been able to see each other anyway. If anything serious did happen between them, it took place before the end of Dawn of the Seeker, close to 20 years before the events of DAI.

I predict the same for the Inquisitor. Someone made a dumb joke that all of Cassandra's lovers are bound to die (in all honesty she only had one lover prior to the Inquisitor). It's more like Cassandra thinks she knows what constitutes the so called "greater good," and follows it dogmatically. How can any relationship be anything more than fleeting when juxtaposed to such a demanding and garish ethic as "greater good"? It's an ethic that makes the good between individuals either secondary, or moot.

Well, I rp my Inquisitor as just having turned 35 (so cassandra is not a couger in my game lol)--his birthday was the day of the explosion... The nightmare demon taunted my Inquistor with "I ate the cake that your mother sent you, it was black forest! It had too much icing, so I took the extra icing off and then ate it with Ice cream the next day!!!" XD lol

I too headcanon my Lavellan's age at early thirties. It helps explain the conversation perks to me (how on EARTH would an elf know so much about human history or the workings of nobility otherwise?)
