At least something like Shakespeare's Julius Caesar isn't interpreted as literal historical truth by a subsect of crazies, unlike the KJB. So that's one thing he has on the Bible. People KNOW that what he wrote is fiction, yet a startling number of people hold the KJB up as literal "this is how history played out" truth.

If you want some really good books to read with an excellent story line and plenty of smut then I suggest the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. It is sooo good and quite funny...... and a little heartbreaking at times.

Depends on how and what you post, in my experience.Oh and the fandom itself.
A lot of guy authors on ff make the mistake of writing, too much from a guys perspective(and often they don't realise they are doing it). And since fanfiction is at least on ff.net is still mostly the domain of women..writing that way is problematic.

I have been on ff.net and want to kudos, and forgot it's not there. I have been in a fair few fandoms, and some are worse than others. The DA fandom is infested with SJW, so I read it far less than others.
It's fine.
I don't write for the attention anyway.
