With age comes (thankfully) more tolerance of diversity and differing opinions, and less of a need to conform to to the mainstream clamoring for whatever is deemed to be "cool" at the present time. Or dismissing what is deemed otherwise.
So, I'll pass on trying to join the "in-crowd" thanks.

Yes, that is true. Though I don't actually know what the current mainstream clamoring phase is. Are we still at "Cassandra is ugly" or did we already transition to "Cassandra looks like a guy"? Anyway, for some people, ageing even leads to being a bit more relaxed, a tad less uptight, and not caring so much anymore.

The weird thing about people complaining about the scar is that IMHO the artists gave Cass the prettiest facial scar ever. One that follows the lines of her cheekbones and has healed super nicely into a single, thin mark? It's basically like someone got a pink marker and drew a line on her face. That's pretty much her scar.
To my mind, the way it enhances her cheekbones actually makes her look prettier.

Eh, to be honest at this point I'm mostly raging against the pairing because I'm expected to. Still dislike it and all, but unless I'm forced to look at it because someone on tumblr hasn't tagged it properly, I'm happy to live and let live.

Very true. However, it was clearly done to go with the overall theme of tragedy. Urrgh this talk of titanic reminds me of how every girl in school had a crush on him...back in the day..
