Jandels, bah you kiwis and your weird words. I mean who would say 'going to the beach wearing my jandels?' That sounds so wrong, you go to the beach wearing double plugger thongs, ya weirdo kiwi.
Meh, go suck a deck.

Absolutely correct. If someone wants to complain about not getting something they would have liked, they're free to do so. If, however, they do so in a racist or blatantly sexist or homophobic manner, they'll be shown the door. And if they honestly think they're fomenting some kind of mass revolution, they'll undoubtedly be disappointed to discover just how much in the minority they actually are.
As for the "rage" regarding people discovering that a character on whom they'd already pinned their romantic hopes suddenly isn't available to them (either by way of gender or race, which are both possibilities in DAI) -- them's the breaks. One can either deal with their disappointment in an in-game manner (nothing like actually interacting with a character rather than thinking about them solely in the abstract), they can play as a different PC (if romancing that one character is the most important thing to their game), or they can come to the forums and complain about how them not getting that option in the game is somehow a violation of their rights or part of a larger socio-political conspiracy. It won't get them anywhere, but so long as they do it politely and are considerate of other posters, they are certainly free to vent their frustrations.
Could you please comment on this technical diagram?

Merela did not attack those who like the mod. Pointing out that the mod is both in bad taste, and shoddy work is not ad hominem. Merela was not saying that people like your girlfriend should not have crude mods, only that said mods are just that, crude, and fatuous.
Attacks have been made, if not necessarily by Merela. I also don't know how the mod could have been done better with current tools, so I'd say "shoddy" is also unfair.
I wouldn't call circumventing the issue entirely and ignoring Cassandra's sexuality for the sake of player titillation (with no tangible ability to role-play the outcome) "dealing with it".
Presumably because it's not your preferred fashion of doing so.
It's a poorly made, and worse implemented mod.
It's also entirely repugnant on a moral scale.
It being total crap is just a technical aspect.
Moral scale? What are you on about?
I'm also not really sure, again, how it could have been better made.
I prefer Cassandra as Cassandra. I don't care about what anyone else thinks she should look. She is perfect as is.
It's not about that, it's about the technical aspect of her face. I like her too, but I'd rather she be modeled based on a female skull and not a male since she is a straight male romance option.
I've dissected enough actual human skulls to know that those diagrams are exceedingly oversimplified. Cassandra is a woman with a strong jaw line and dynamic cheek bones. Plenty of beautiful women have these traits.
Oh, back already? *disgusted noises*
I'm not here to make you understand either.
Especially morality and it's aspects in constriction of sexuality.
But again I'm not here for that.
I'm no teacher, even if I was I wouldn't bother.
Then congratulations on inaction. I'm still for all romances being bisexual.
Great. Maybe the feedback forum would be more appropriate for your soapbox. This thread is about the character Cassandra is, so let's get back to that, yeah?

Because all people are bisexual in real life?
Because that's one of the best things about bioware games, is that the characters you meet feel like real people. And real people have sexuality, in real life.
So either you want fake characters who act as nothing more than sexual fantasy, or you've never met a real human being.
...either one is kinda sad actually ![]()

Different folks, different strokes. That is all it really comes down to.

I'll take the third option of having played and enjoyed DA2.
Also, bisexuality is a sexuality that real people have.

You're never going to convince anyone of this unless they're already inclined to agree with you.

A sexuality. Not the only sexuality.
A game as vast as dragon age should encompass a vast array of people.
Like, caucasian is an ethnicity. But it's not the only ethnicity. Dragon Age would suffer if everyone was caucasian. In the same way, the game would suffer if everyone was bisexual.
I get that the characters only exist to you as sexual fantasy, to be bent to whatever lonely whim you feel in the moment, but that isn't the point of a bioware game. And it shouldn't be the point either.
Are you implying my country isn't civilized?
Not implying, no.
Meh, go suck a deck.

It's the Internet. I never expected otherwise.

You'll note that I never said that every character should be bisexual, just every LI. And "LI" is a completely arbitrary distinction. Simply put, I don't see what's added by cutting people off from romances for reasons that are, when you get down to it, fairly arbitrary themselves.
It's the Internet. I never expected otherwise.
So why keep at this?
