Not implying, no.
I bet you know next to nothing about my country.
Not implying, no.
I bet you know next to nothing about my country.
So why keep at this?
I'm hoping to find people who do agree with me and are lurking, but turned off by the hostile atmosphere in the thread, who might be interested in the knowledge of an alternative.
I bet you know next to nothing about my country.
I don't even know where you're from, so that may be possible.
I'm still for all romances being bisexual.
RIP DA2 system 2011-2014
and you're the heart of my cards. lol So you better get set to get decked.
Those are superspecialawesome puns. ![]()

Why would the mod need you to advertise for it?
You don't think the chances might be a lot higher that anyone who does join you is just going to increase the hostility in the thread?
Presumably because it's not your preferred fashion of doing so.
No, I think it's more because what I described is the antithesis of dealing with it. When one "deals with it", they don't go out of their way to make it so that they can ignore the parameters set in place by the devs.

Are you referring to this thread? Because I don't believe it is hostile.
You'll note that I never said that every character should be bisexual, just every LI. And "LI" is a completely arbitrary distinction. Simply put, I don't see what's added by cutting people off from romances for reasons that are, when you get down to it, fairly arbitrary themselves.
What's added is real, human characters. The point of a large cast is to capture a slice of humanity, a cross-section of human demographics. When everyone is bi, you are no longer attempting to do this. Instead, you are using sexuality as a gameplay mechanic to feed into sexual fantasy. You're dehumanizing the potential LI because they no longer have agency, they are simply sexual putty to be formed by you. In doing this, you reducing fleshed out characters. Cassandra is this strong, independent woman who believes and is willing to do whatever is required of her for the good of Thedas, yet in her heart yearns to be pursued by a man she deems worthy of herself. This is a vast oversimplification of her character, granted, but it demonstrates what a dynamic character she is. The same for Dorian, or Sara, or Blackwall, etc. Yet, when you take these characters, and then give them mush sexuality to be determined by the player, you take this dynamism from them. They cease to be real humans (at least in the literary sense) and become vehicles for your sexual whims.
Simply put, you're arguing for simpler characters so you can exploit them for sexual fantasy.
Why would the mod need you to advertise for it?

Would they accept the mod if I stopped talking about it?

So what would that be? Triumphing over it?
Are you referring to this thread? Because I don't believe it is hostile.
I get that the characters only exist to you as sexual fantasy, to be bent to whatever lonely whim you feel in the moment, but that isn't the point of a bioware game. And it shouldn't be the point either.
It's a poorly made, and worse implemented mod.
It's also entirely repugnant on a moral scale.
It being total crap is just a technical aspect.
Are you referring to this thread? Because I don't believe it is hostile.
I respectfully disagree.

So Cassandra, Dorian, Sera and Blackwall are inherently more complex characters than Merrill, Anders, Isabela and Fenris, not to mention Josephine and Iron Bull? Again, I disagree.
Are you referring to this thread? Because I don't believe it is hostile.
Hostile is defined as disagreeing with someone these days. For the record, I lurk on this thread and have never noticed it to be hostile. But then again, I don't need people to agree with me to validate my opinions.

Strawman, ahoy.
Hostile is defined as disagreeing with someone these days.
Lol!
That is exactly what I was just thinking.
So what would that be? Triumphing over it?
Triumph implies the presence of a struggle to be overcome. I don't think that even the richest, most stuck-up poncy t**t in the world can call a fictional character not fitting their orientation a "struggle", and downloading a mod to circumvent that misfitting a "triumph". Especially when the game acknowledges the player as a male.

Basic example of how you don't understand concepts. Josephine and Iron Bull are bi. That's their sexuality in a game where everyone has a defined sexuality. You're somehow reading "bi is bad". Not what I'm saying.
Intentionally undefining a character's sexuality to appeal to the sexual fantasies of the player is bad. Read that sentence again until you understand it.
And as an aside, Anders is inherently worse than every character ever. Even star child.
Anyway, has anyone figured out Cassandra's hair thing? It's been six months and I still can decide if it's a braid or a hairband.

It's a braid.
At least, it's (nearly) unanimously decided that it's a braid. I've yet to see a single person claim it not to be a braid.
Would they accept the mod if I stopped talking about it?
No, Xil.
I just don't think this discussion ever goes anywhere pleasant. I don't understand what you're hoping for.

You know, I was playing last night and was thinking about this. There is no way with her hair being that short, that she would be able to pull that braid off. It is just not possible, unless she keeps some prats of her hair long.......which would be weird.
So I'm going to go with some sort of headband. You can get ones like that.
Or the person that designed her just didn't think things through.

Maybe it's both? She had longer hair when she was younger. Maybe when she cut her hair short, she took what was cut and braided it into a headband?

Well, personally, I would have stuck with "dealing with it."

Everyone had a defined sexuality in DA2 as well. It's that method that I'd prefer to recapture.
Maybe its a headband made of hair...
