If Bioware or EA sues anybody for anything, it'll be for illegal use of their IP and assets. Just ripping off a character model (with audio and textures) from a game and making a porn version of it does not fall under fair use protection. Or, rather, no court worth their salt would let that fly. Fair use allows use of copyrighted materials for educational purposes, commentary, or promotion. Unfortunately, "fair use" is a deliberately vague legal term that is subject to the scrutiny of the judge or whoever else is presiding over the case. Speaking as a U.S. citizen (I'm not sure how other countries do their copyright laws), I have faith in our legal system to recognize obvious ripping off of intellectual property. I don't think our judges are really THAT incompetent to let something like that go scot-free.

"Both sides lawyers"
Like a group of neckbeards making Tomb Raider porn in their basement are going to have a legal team that can compete against Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix. That's a good one.

I do very much doubt that, assuming the judges presiding over the cases aren't entirely incompetent and don't get off to Lara Croft being gang raped by 3 dudes wearing ski masks, or Clementine being molested by Zombie!Lee, or whatever weird porn you watch.

Regarding Origins: I don't think 'overrated' is the right word. 'Worshiped' is perhaps more accurate. I prefered Dragon Age II and Inquisition, particularily II. Had Bioware not caved on their vision and stuck with Inquisitor Hawke, we could have had something truly amazing. But whatever... Cassandra with longer hair looks pretty.
Was that ever confirmed or is that still fan speculation?

Speculation. And I don't think swapping the Inquisitor out for Hawke would have made the game any better.

You need to actually do research then.
Only their game of thrones production actually resulted in a video coming down back in 2014 *nods*

"Actually do research".
Yes, let me divine their name from some goat innards and tea leaves first, since nobody has said who these people are yet.

StudioFOW
Their website should be easy enough to find.

"My ignorance is my failing"? As though it's somehow my fault nobody has mentioned the name of this group of people, and I should just magically know who they are without being informed first? Do you have any idea how profoundly stupid that is to say?
Considering who I'm talking to, he probably doesn't. From now on I think I'll just follow the "ignore" function.

Figure you'd at least do a bit of research on it before commenting about it.
That'd include learning it's name.
So yes.
I'd say you not doing any research period would be your bad.

Confirmed? Isn't the ending of Dragon Age II confirmation enough? Or the entire premise of that game, for that matter. It's even referenced in Inquisition. Cassandra says they were searching for Hawke to lead the Inquisition.
Hawke was Bioware attempting a second Commander Shepard, and it worked quite well. Wasn't well received because Dragon Age II was called Dragon Age '2'. Should have been Dragon Age: Champion of Kirkwall, or something to that effect, and advertised as a new start to a new series and theme in the 'dragon age' world.
But alas, it will never be. Inquisition is okay, but had it been the 2 to II's 1, we'd have been gold.

If we're going by the DA2 ending and what Cassandra says the Warden would also be the Inquisitor if alive because they looked for him/her also
I'm glad Bioware didn't go the "Commander Shepard" route with the series, because I prefer a new protagonist each game

Fair use is a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work. In United States copyright law, fair use is a doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders. Examples of fair use include commentary, search engines, criticism, parody, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship. It provides for the legal, unlicensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work under a four-factor balancing test.
According to the American Supreme Court.
Pornographic production can be classified as Parody.
End of argument.

The depends, are you going to condescend to me for not knowing someone's name, when that name has never been brought up in conversation before?
Because I can't really say I'm fond of someone speaking to me like I'm an idiot, telling me "lel go do research" when I have no conceivable way of knowing WHO I'm researching.

Inquisition sort of demands a full-on sequel though, considering how important the Inquisitor and the Inquisition end up becoming by the end of the game. They're practically their own country and have alliances with (or are at least on friendly terms with) several other nations. It would be incredibly jarring if the Inquisitor just disappeared and nobody knew where he or she went.
