I really like how baddass Cass looks on this horse. I could totes see her with a javelin lance knocking opponents off their horses. She could tag team with the inquisitor.
edit: Cropped out the offending part.

Wouldn't it be a lance and not a javalin? A javelin is a throwing spear right?

And it's the moment where I inform you it's actually a Pentilyet fanart. AND a CassxLeliana one too. *coughs*
No, the strawberries are imperative. Cause then you can slowly drag them down the length of her stomach while her body heat softens the chocolate, melting it just enough to leave a thin trail that can be licked down afterwards.

Meanwhile in Skyhold..
Adaar: Hey, Cass. I found these strawberries and someone's left me a lot of chocolate.
Cassandra: What are you thinking?
Adaar: I smother you in chocolate and lick it up.
Cole appears
Cole: I want to take you and throw you onto my bed. My muscles must be rubbed by you. My belt thrown out of the window and..
Adaar: and Adaar throws the spirit out of the window.
Cole disapproves.
Aww we missed you too!

Really*checks* Eh, so it is. Honestly I just liked cass on the horse. Because, the two girls are like not really close to Cass. I interpreted it, as them just cheering Cass on.
Until you mentiond it, I had no idea :/.
I'm getting extremely frustrated with this. There is no description under some of the pics on tumblr, and then i see some pics that have cass with a female character, and it looks platonic..only to be told later it's slash.
Anyway, I cropped it. I liked the pic of cass o the horse too much to completely remove it.
Glad to see it's appreciated

Ha, I don't think I count as an elder male. Maybe when I hit my late thirties, then I can make that claim.
And yea, you really couldn't tell that was any sort of romantic intended pic.

*pats pats* Well there are tags about it being Pentilyet and Cassandra x Leliana but they are among the lasts, meaning you can't know it's a shipping picture unless you specifically click on it (or unless you've blacklisted the pairings). But I get what you mean - now pictures have to be romantic at any cost, even if they don't look like it. But people also suffer from carelessness in their tags now, meaning something that is obviously shipping will not be tagged approprietly either. We cannot win, AWTEW. *melancholic look in the sunset*
Get this, there is a lista of books banned by the Chantry in volume 2 and it basically goês like so.
"The Imperial Chant of Light.
The qun.
Edicts of the Black Divine.
Carmenum di Amatus."
Let's not forget every books written by Varric. ![]()
Because it is possible to discuss the character of an individual without spoiling concrete aspects of the newest story. And because in general, from what I know of Geralt and Cassandra, I do not understand your views on these respective characters. Instead of insisting to base your explanations purely on TW3 I assumed you could instead explain your point by referencing older events or simply only by analyzing the characters and motivations, which would be enough to explain statements such as "hypocrite" or "follows his own way while she does not".
My own statement did not reference any particular event and I think I could still make myself understood in this debate. Jason was able to reply on a meta level too.
What I originally wrote was:
"To clarify, I believe I wrote about the religious institution (the Chantry) with its childish notion of greater good (a notion that runs poisonous, through Cassandra's head) ruining the relationship between the Inquisitor and Cassandra. I thought I asked a good question, how can you call this so called 'greater good' good, when it destroys the good between individuals? This is why I love the Witcher, Geralt of Rivia does not care for the socially inculcated mores that boil down to fatuous semantics (greater and lesser), above all, he cares for those close to him, and he follows his own Wicther's code. Why? His world (also his life) sucks, it is filled with perpetual horror and death, it is better to traverse such a world in good company. "
Which is true, Geralt does not care for greater good (it's the same in the books), he cares about his friends and 'family', he would never purposely sacrifice them for any sort of political agenda, because they are the most important people in his life. Geralt would never sacrifice his love for Yennefer, to say, become the 'pope' of the Eternal Fire because the unwashed peasants (who would happily burn , most of the people Geralt loves, due to faith and superstition) need to feel 'hope'...
Cassandra is a hypocrite because she believes that what she does, worshiping the Maker (her character revolves around unreason, faith) leaving the Inquisitor to become Divine, is for the greater good. When in reality, if there is any truth to what the Chantry teaches, that there is a Maker who once lived in the 'Golden City', then he is an unjust being who created the Darkspawn and Corypheus & Co. in the first place. Cassandra has to be the guardian of the Chant and the Chantry's teachings, which say that the Maker created the Darkspawn, what Cassandra and most people in the DA universe perceive as the greatest evil in all of Thedas. Meaning that the being Cassandra worships, the being that constitutes 'greater good' is the very same being who created the world's greatest evil, to punish, not simply the few who committed the 'act of breaking and entering' but punishes countless people from its inception onward. A blight that poisons and kills people who were never involved with the original so called 'crime/sin'. And of course, the Chantry says that all the people of Thedas are to blame for the world's ills (because of 'evil mages', and 'killing Andreste'), they must all be uber masochistic about it so that someday the lovely Maker will come back with his blushing bride. This is all Chantry canon, no reforms will change it, and it's what Cassandra will beome (as I said) the guradian of. If her faith is true, then she is worse than just an unreflecting individual.
As for Witcher spoilers, you can blame Br3dmax (who brought up one of Ciri's endings in the Witcher 3) for that; I was merely stating that I liked Geralt's heuristic more, which just so happens to be the prevailing theme in the Witcher series (there is no greater good, no ending can really be called good) over Dragon Age's black and white, greater good, good and evil.
Last but not least, you never answered why you got involved in the this conversation in the first place. You already knew that it was 'heated' yet you dove right on in.
A Divine, Supreme Being that created all there is is, by definition, the source of all morality. Therefore, whatever the Maker proclaims to be just is so. That the Supreme Being can't make mistakes is the basis of all monotheistic religions. If you can't accept that, that's fine. But Cassandra is a woman of faith and this is simply part of who she is.
Besides, the Chant of Light doesn't especifically says the Maker created the Darkspawn. Rather, according to it, the Magisters were tainting Heaven just by being there before the Maker was even aware they were there and all He did was return them to Thedas.
Then, the Magisters created the Darkspawn.
I'm fairly certain it's lipstick.

I'm surprised they acknowledged the existence of that book/codex without providing errata.
Like, seriously. The author, the content, the title. None of that **** adds up, it makes no sense.

I don't click on every single picture I see. I really only use tumblr, as a sort of fandom info/art search engine, stuff that you can't nesscarily find on google.
Yay, you are right it's like they do it purely for reblogs/attention sometimes. I don't go out of my way to look for every conceivable pairing, and their names because it gets to a point, where it is impossible to keep up.
and I really, really don't care for the fandom politics in tags either, or the Yaoi spam. And it really is like spam on tumblr, search a male characters name and 'Bam' yaoi.
If you can't tell it's meant be Pentilyet unless you read the tags, why do you care?
Serious question, not meant to be jackassery.
I hate Pentilyet myself, but even knowing its Pentilyet, I can still enjoy the picture, because the relationship isn't explicit in the photo. Who cares what the artist intended? I can interpret it how I like.
Well, Its more about how upset some posters can get over the issue, moreso than tethraghast. Then it can lead to a heated discussion about how cass is, or is not xyz semi-subset-clause sexuality.
I loathe those discussions because I'm no good at them, and I just get myself picked to pieces when I simply say that I prefer Cass as inquisitors bestie, and ect ect.
And there is this, sick, mentality that a female fan, is a filthy traitor to the female gaming community, because they don't support every character being gay. There is this hive-mentality that a lot of SJW seem to have, that gets real fu**** nasty.
So, does Cassandra wear lipstick or is that just the natural reddish tone of her lips?
Maybe it's blood magic...
