A lot of people do, since the inquisitor was so dry.

They're just not familiar with the concept of roleplaying. If we were handed everything on a silver plate, that would defeat the whole point.

Fans of the The Elder Scrolls franchise would understand.

Does attraction ever make sense?

Cassandra is very compatible with me (and, by extension, most of my characters) but it just does not translate to me feeling passionate about her. It's like she's too compatible.

Then again, I am not real taken with many of the LI's in this series.

I get that. If I'm going to be happy with a romance arc, the two characters involved can't be too similar or I'm bored with it. I had a problem finding the right balance with Morrigan, because she doesn't like white knight types, but a romance between two ruthless characters was dull for me. I couldn't flesh out the player character to make it feel like a layered interaction.

My Cassmancer is like an anti-Cassandra in that he has absolutely none of her selflessness. Their politics and religious motives are compatible, but for different reasons. Cassandra has loyalty and integrity, and believes in the chantry and the maker out of faith. Agravain is loyal to the chantry, and "ardently" Andrastian, as a matter of political savvy.

Deep down, he doesn't really consider anything sacred. In fact, he never really cared about anything outside of himself until Cassandra.

We talk about manly and you give us a clip of a guy talking about balls. LOL.

Truly manly men never make reference to their parts?

Okay, how about this one:

Make references? Yes. Making a monologue about different kinds of balls? ROFL no.

He is indeed manly, but he's also famous from American media ;)

Oh, you're thinking in terms of whether you find them attractive.

Well, that's fair. I'm a fan of his, but not in that way. I just love those films.

Lol.

Different tastes, yeah? Just because you find the British accent pleasant doesn't mean the person behind you doesn't find a different one pleasant to the same degree.

The American accents dialogue gets dilevered in a heap of different tones, varying from, as you say, brash, to soft, to comical. Same as the British accent.

I really don't think one is better than the other except for when it comes to ones personal tastes.

Of course its different tastes, but I was really trying to be objective by noting the British accent sounds good on younger looking human and elves. The British accent sounds like the character is in his 20 to 30 while the American one clearly sounds older, like 30 or even older.

Plus science doesn't lie  :P  American accent and German are so brash that the speaker of said languages have different shape in their vocal area. The usage of harsh sounds over and over changes it.

Also lets appreciate how good the friendship between Cassandra and female Inquisitor is. Though nothing comes close to Morrigan with F!warden friendship, but Cassandra is easily the 2nd best.

I've been bored so have been occupying myself with taking SC of my Inquisitor (also, I kind of just like looking at him :P), and thought I'd grab one of Cass and her adorable little smile too. :)

I thought you said that you hadn't seen Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

Not that I think you'd love it, but it has nothing in common with Transporter.

No, just no. Jason Statham with Guy Ritchie in the director chair is amazing. Also Crank!

Hey guys, I have question on your personal preference of Cassandra's romance in the end. What do you prefer for her future? I know most of it may be headcanon, but it's all good.

Do you prefer her to stay with you at Skyhold running the Inquisition? Maybe rebuild the Seekers? Or perhaps reform the Chantry as Divine?

My selfish side wants her all to myself. While the workings as Divine is awesome, I feel that they would grow too distant because the status of Divine messes with their relationship (at least from what I gather). The happy medium is restoring the Seekers, IMO.

With a Pro-Chantry/Pro-Circle Templar, I found having her rebuild the Seekers as a great way to keep her ambitious spirit up (which I love about her). Some of the Templars follow Cullen with the detox and join the Seekers. Vivienne retains the Circles while giving the Mages more freedom/responsibility. Overall, this type of RP for this character fits perfectly. Just wondering about everyone's thoughts behind their decision.

I'm generally pro-templar/pro-circle in most of my playthroughs and have Cass as divine but I'm switching it up a bit for her romance because yes, I want to be selfish and keep her all to myself. :P

I'm going to be aiming to have Vivienne become divine so Cass can stay with my Inquisitor and I will support her in rebuilding the Seekers, as usual. :)

The Brit va sounds so bored most of the time

I'm playing atm using the american VA and I actually prefer him over the british voice.

The brit voice is kinda highpitched?
